"You've reached Graceful Hair Salon, how can I help you?"

"Are you Grace Shakur?"

"May I ask who's speaking?"

"Are you Grace or nah?!"

"Yes, I am she," Grace answered while her receptionist, Jodie, was on lunch break.

"I've been searching through the yellow pages all damn week trying to find you."

"Well, you did," Grace said as her fiance arrived in his brand new Rolls Royce outside of the salon. Cedric playfully tapped at the glass to get her attention to open up. He had got her food from her favorite Jamaican restaurant.

"It's about your son, Tupac." The woman on the phone replied. "He's not going to be a father. Dekiya Moss is a liar and she's on her way to do some pretty screwed up stuff in order to maintain this lie."

"Wait, what? who are yo-"

"That shouldn't matter." The woman said. "All that matters is that your son's reputation is at stake here, ma'am."

"W-what am I supposed to do to help?"

"You'll need proof and I can help you get some like a voice recording." The voice on the other end decided.

"That'd be wonderful, hold on for a minute." She let Cedric in as he sighed.

"Took you long enough."

"My bad," Grace told him.

"Meet me down at Belle Isle Beach in an hour."

"Alright..." Grace promised as the mystery woman hung up.

"Who was that?" Cedric asked.

"I don't know." Grace pondered. "But I need to go meet her... it was about Tupac."

"I'm not letting you go meet up with some stranger alone." Cedric intervened.

"Then come on," She grabbed her jacket and food then rushed out of the store just as Jodie was returning.

That woman had been Missy Elliot a part-time nurse at Mekka Creek. Dekiya and her were close friends since the beginning but she could no longer stand around letting her get away with hurting others. She checked her wristwatch while waiting in the parking lot of the beach as Belinda drove up.

"This better be important." She hissed as she got from the Benz.

Missy was dressed in a purple scrubs set and her hair slicked down in finger waves. Grace and Cedric came later on as they all crowded inside of her brown chevy.

"I'm sorry but I'm starved." Grace opened the foam tray of food and started smacking on jerk chicken.

"Who are these people?"

"I'm Cedric and this is my beautiful fiancee Grace." Cedric introduced. "And you are?"

"Belinda Haughton."

"She is Aaliyah's mom and that is Pac's mother." Missy interrupted. "I got you guys down here because I didn't know who else to reach but I needed to share this information with somebody." She played a voice recording of Dekiya admitting to not being pregnant over a conversation that occurred over the phone yesterday.

Grace's mouth parted.

"Oh! God." Belinda looked away. "My daughter has been heartbroken over nothing..."

"My poor baby he really was excited about becoming a father."

"How do we get this information out there?" Cedric questioned as Missy Elliot thought on it.

"What I'm going to suggest probably has never been thought of before, but if we want the truth to be heard by everyone then this is what has to happen," Missy started to explain.

They all leaned forward as she spoke.
