Fatima had managed to get Aaliyah out of the house as they went shopping for Harley's Halloween costume. She couldn't stand seeing her friend become some sort of recluse. Locking herself away from society while everyone else their age was having the time of their young adult lives.

Fatima knew if it wasn't for her, her friend would've been some cat lady by now.

"How's this?" Aaliyah held up a bumble-bee costume from the rack of many others.

"Harley hates bees."

"Then this can help her overcome her fear." She went on. "Because that's all hate is, just fear."

"So that's what's been up with you? Dr. Shakur got you in fear..." Fatima said and stood there for an answer. "Afraid to leave the house and come out to experiment."

Aaliyah rolled off in her wheelchair. "I don't want to talk about it."

"I bet you don't but be all up in my business..."

She smacked her glossy lips. "You freely tell me all of your business without me even asking for it."

"That's what friends do." Fatima shrugged.

"There's nothing to talk about regarding that situation anyway," Aaliyah replied. "It was just a Summer fling nothing else."

"Keep telling yourself that." Fatima arched her brow then continued checking through the costume rack.

Belinda came running through the mall and did a double-take as she entered the store.

"Mom, what ar-"

"We have to get down to the hospital quick!" Belinda panted.

"What, why!?"

"I- uhh it's your brother he's come down with this terrible sickness and we need to get to the hospital and find out what it is." Belinda continued as Aaliyah started to cry at the mere mention of Arias being hurt. "No time for tears, girl, c'mon."

"I'm going too." Fatima dropped the ladybug costume and followed the mother-daughter duo out to the parking lot. Neither of the girls expected that anything Belinda said was a lie. But she felt bad anyway this whole thing had been her fault if she never tried to meddle then they'd still be together.

This was her moment to right her wrongs. The receptionist greeted them as they burst through the double slider doors. "We're here to see my brother he was rushed in today with an unidentified illness."

"Okay, and what's his name?"

"Arias Haughton."

The receptionist checked the computer then files for his name, yet didn't find it. Belinda looked around then pushed Aaliyah over to the elevators in her wheelchair.

"We have to get up there now."

"Mom, what are you doing?"

The music that usually played throughout Mekka Creek stopped as Missy took to the intercom.

"I don't see his name on any of the lists." The receptionist spoke. "I've checked numerous times."

"Friends... how many of us have those? Shoot! I thought I had one but she turned out to be a vindictive wench that'd do anything to get her way including faking a pregnancy. Don't believe me then listen for yourself." Missy announced then played the recording for all to hear in the hospital. "Yes, that's Dekiya Moss aka Nurse Moss right there... ladies & gents."

'What am I going to do when 9 months go by and there's no baby?' the recording was in a repeated loop.

Aaliyah sat there shocked as her tears of sorrow became those of joy. Belinda grinned as Fatima ran over and hugged her friend. When Suge got word of this he ran out to the hallway which was like a ghost town since everyone went to confront Dekiya about her lies as she rushed out of the building. But not before she promised to sue the hospital for every penny after being humiliated.

Missy, Grace, and Belinda's plan had worked they had successfully exposed Dekiya. But not everyone took it well. Tupac, for instance, was torn up by this. He had so much planned for that baby only to discover there wasn't one.

His trust issues were at an all-time high.
