I ran through corn open field. My wolf was itching to be released so I let him run for a few hours alone. I needed to get out of the house and think for a while. I'm trying my best to get close to Josh but no matter how hard I try he'll still pull away. My wolf whine in pain that our mate hasn't accepted us but he has his reason as he stated. I'm trying my best to be there for him and he's right we barely know each other but I want to know who he is but his past is stopping him making him think different.
He speaks about his brother Devin. Devin this Devin that, it's like it doesn't matter what Josh feels or thinks because what's important is what Devin thinks and that's not right. My mate is beautiful and a good Beta wolf, I hate it when thinks so low about himself, I want to change the way he thinks. I shifted back into my human form, changed then head inside.
I heard laughter coming from the playroom. Seeing Josh playing with Roman and Elijah makes me imagine him playing with our pups. I want to have children but I want to have his love and cherish him like a princess.
"You look beautiful" I commented. Josh laughter went silent as he stared at me
"T-Thanks I guess" he replied. The bored tone in his voice made me cringe but I acted like it didn't matter even when it did.
"Come on let go out" I said
"Out? go where?" he asked in a worried tone. My wolf growled at me telling to be calm and comfort our mate.
"Dunno, you haven't really seen the city so consider me a tour guide" I said
"I-I don't know" he said
"Come on, I won't bite .. well just a little but I'll behave" I teased. Josh moaned but he put on his brave face tried to contain his blush which made me him look cute.
"Okay" he said.
"Great, lets go" I grip his wrist and walk towards my harley. Josh stared at me like I was crazy.
"You drive this?" he gasped. I smirked.
"I do. Hop on" I said
"Oh no, I'll die in that thing" he said
"It's not a thing, it's a he. His name is Peter and he has feelings" I teased. Josh giggled.
"Fine, fine but if I fall I'm clearing our bank account for my medical bills" he said
"You'll be fine since you have a professional doctor right here" I said pointing my finger at myself. Josh rolled his eyes then wrapped his arms around my waist making my wolf purr.
"Alright lets go" I yelled. My biker roared to life as I drive to the ctiy and began my so call tour, I'm happy Josh accepted. I'll consider this a date but just him by my side makes me a lucky man.
