*Alarm clock beeps*
The sun rises, the alarm clock rings. And it's time for me to wake up early. I turned off the clock as it causes too much noise in my ears, after 5 minutes I started to grab my phone, took a picture to post it on Instagram. I add a little caption and post it immediately.
"Rosie~~ time for breakfast "Heiley called with a sweet voice coming from the kitchen
"I'm coming "I replied back
I started to stand up and fix my pastel blue bed. I went to the mirror and sees myself with a messy hair with a squinty eye, so I combed my brown blonde wavy hair and tie it in a messy bun style.
After that, I went downstairs and walk towards the kitchen then greeted my best friend, Heiley a good morning.
Heiley lived with me since her parents died 2 years ago in a car accident. Actually, I'm living in a huge penthouse in Los Angeles, so it's really big enough for the both of us. A quick throwback, Hailey is my best friend since I was 4 years old. She save me from a wheel accident that I literally almost died because I got lose control in riding the bike and nearly got hit by a car, but when Hailey throw a rock on me (she was really mean at the first time) then my wheels got stuck and I got flown away that made myself away from the street. Wo hooo! I'm saved but my bicycle was crashed into pieces... Back to present
"What's for breakfast? "I asked as I look at her while cooking something
"I'm cooking chicken for breakfast "She replied sweetly with her British accent, then I spank her and pouts
"AH! WHAT THE- Why did you do that?!" She exclaimed and got mad
"You murdered your own kind... "I tease her but with no emotion on my face
"What do you mean? "She wondered
"Have you forgotten Hei Hei? "I tease her and I began to laugh hard
As soon as she remembered he chicken in the Disney movie "Moana", she hit me even more harder and started to throw her mittens on me
"YOU MORON!" She curses and started to chase me, we ran circles around the round table.
We both stopped as my phone suddenly notifies and made us both wondered, I grab my phone from the table then turned it on and read its notification.
"What you got there? "Heiley ask as she approaches and stand beside
me to take a look of my phone
"Oh it's nothing, it's just my Instagram notifies me about my previous post" As I hand over my phone to her and sat down to eat my breakfast since I feel butterflies in my stomach
"New post? "She asks while scrolling my news feeds
"It's not that kind of big deal" I stated as I stuffed some food in my mouth
After Heiley took my phone, her eyes suddenly widen and became speechless.
"What's wrong? "I asked after I swallowed the food
"Wa- wa-"She stuttered
"Wa- what? "
"1 MILLION LIKES?! "She exclaimed in a surprise manner.
"LOOK! TAKE A LOOK AT IT!" as she tries to stick my phone right on to my face, forcing
me to take look at it
I shove away my phone and ask her in a sarcastic way "Then?"
"What do you mean 'then', you got a lot of likes gurl! and you'll just say 'then'?! "She exclaimed and got irritated
"What's the point?" As I stood up and walk towards the kitchen placing the plates on the sink
"I can't even get a 20 likes!" she complaint
"It's just a million of likers out there but not even a single one of them can give the love that I crave the most "I added as I started to turn on the faucet and wash the dishes
"And fun fact, 'it doesn't mean they liked your photo, they ACTUALLY like you' it is how social media works, people can lie straight in to your face" as I tried to fend my statement
"You kind of have a point.. "She coincided and rest her arm on her waist
After I wash the dishes, we both went to the living room to have a break. I grabbed the remote from a rectangular glass table in front of the black couch to where I sit on. I turn on the flat screen T.V and signed into my Netflix account.
"Any movies to suggest?" I ask Heiley while she's busy with my phone
"I want horror movies" she answered without looking at me
I searched for movies until I found the perfect horror movie for us to watch. Heiley ordered Hawaiian pizza with extra cheese before the movie started and she also went to the kitchen to cook popcorn in the microwave and prepared a juice from the refrigerator for us to drink. When the movie started, I changed the room lightings to 'nighttime' to feel more tense and thrill.
In the middle of the movie, Heiley felt very scared and terrified already, she shivers with fear and her hands are cold as ice. She's been hiding underneath the blanket and covers her eyes while I'm only chilling and laughing at her reaction.
"You have a visitor Ms. Diaz" Heiley screams in terror as she hear the virtual assistant 'Alexa'
"Chill gurl, it's just Alexa" I said
I stood up from the couch and went to the front elevator then I notice that the nobody is around. I saw the elevator closes as I arrived then I found a single rose with a letter beside it lying on the ground. I picked up the rose and reads the letter beside it.
"To Francheska Rose Diaz... "As it is written in calligraphy style
"ROSIEEE!!!! "Heiley screams loudly from the living room
"Coming!" I answered
I went back to the living room bringing those stuff I found. Heiley paused the movie and turn back the lightings in to 'daylight'. She noticed me and ask
"Who was there? "Heiley asked
"Nobody, but it left a rose and a letter" I said as I sat beside her and hand over the letter while I hold the red blooming rose
"Wew... So old but classic" Heiley commented
"What do you mean? "I ask as I take a look at the letter
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
A Rose for you,
for a Rose like you
