"You did it on purpose" I cross my arms and gave him a pout. He just laughs at me and ask me "What's your dare?". I smirked at him hysterically and slowly crawl towards him, he is take a deep breath in as I grab his shoulders and slowly lean my head forward. I can barely hear him breathing and his heart is pumping loudly. "I want you to do me a favor... " I whispered into his ears. "W-what favor, hey slow down-" He got cut off as I pinned him down on the ground with my arms.
"ROSE!" He shouted my name as he closes his eyes. I lean my forehead into his chest and cackles loudly. I laughed harder and move away from him, I laugh that I can hardly breathe, and my stomach hurts so much. He looks at me cluelessly and terrified at the same time.
"Why are you laughing?" He asks worriedly
"I was just teasing you silly" I replied with a chuckle. He looks away and locked his jaw, I stopped laughing at this moment and notice him getting disappointed. "Hey, what's wrong?" I ask. He stands up and walk away from me and went straight to the bathroom. I got upset for what I did, it seems I hurt his feelings or what. Wait, does he have any feelings for me?
It’s been 30 minutes and he haven't walked out from the bathroom yet, I walk towards the bathroom door and was about to knock. My eyes widen and I froze in a surprise, I heard him coughing like badly and hearing a lot of rough sound of deep breaths. He is like choking and I can't stand to just listen to it anymore, so I aggressively knock the door. "Ken! are you alright in there?!" I yelled out in deep worry and frightened and then the door opens, and he seems fine. "Sorry I got choked by my saliva" He slowly chuckles, and I can tell he is lying. I immediately hugged him tight as I got seriously worried. Beat----beat----beat¬ his heart pumps so weak, I'm now doubting at this guy
"Uhm, Rose you can move away now" He said, I directly move away and looked at him worriedly then he smiled before walking straight to the bedroom. He didn't finish his beer and he only drink like ¼ of it. Suddenly someone knocked on the door, I came to open it and I saw Heiley wearing a champagne thigh-length slip dress covered with a maroon suit of Lukas (How protective) who is standing right next to her .
"Where are you guys going?" I ask
"At the casino" Heiley answered
"I'm coming, but make sure we win" I replied as I closed the door.
I peek at Ken from here and he seems to be lying on the ground instead of the bed. I am getting ready for my look at the casino, I wear red wine thigh length sheath dress with a slit on the side, it is backless, and its strap is tied on my neck. I wore a sparkling red platform heels and tied my hair into a fancy chic bun with few strands of hairs on the side. I grab my Gucci purse and then I'm ready to go.
END FRANCHESKA'S POV
KENJI'S POV
I couldn't stop thinking for what she did earlier, and I forgot that she brought beer and accidentally drink it. Now I'm experiencing heart burn, I just hate the way my heart became fragile. I'll be honest, I got mad at the Rose for a little bit after teasing me that gives me a heart attack. I've been liking her for a year and by the teasing me like that, makes me uncomfortable. I respect girls, so I am sleeping on the couch tonight while she sleeps at the bed. Not for long I drifted off to sleep and wakes up when the morning sun rises. I saw Rose's Gucci purse on the glass table, I sit up straight and glance at the bedroom, but the door is closed. I saw a paper bag on the table that I didn't notice before. I opened the bag and saw a Mc Donald meal, someone knocked at the door and opens it. "Hey ken, eat up and we're leaving" Heiley mentioned so I eat up my meal and grab all my luggage and change my clothes into a basic white t shirt and gray jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes. Rose wasn't in this room after all, she might me at the parking lot with her friends, when I come down, I guessed it right. They are in the parking lot getting ready for the next stop that I don't know where.
I sit right where I'm always be, but I didn't even look nor talk to her. While driving, I notice that there are times she glances at me like wanted to say something.
"Hey Ken, I wanted to say sorry for what I did yesterday. I just thought it was funny" She apologizes, I finally looked at her and I can tell that she is sincere
"Forget it, we don't want to ruin our perfect road trip"
Rose said that we are on our way to the Garden of Gods at Colorado, we will be staying there for 1 night and after that, we will drive straight to New York. We arrived at the Garden of Gods resort, but we stopped at the main entrance as a security guard blocked our way.
“Good morning Ma’am and Sir, welcome to the Garden of Gods resort. We will a have a short time of checkpoint before you proceed inside.” The security man said. After that we proceed inside the resort, as we got there and Rose left us in the parking lot to book for rooms, one thing for sure, I was stunned looking at the amazing view of the resort. There are three pools with enormous sizes, huge cozy cottages, and a clean field with grasses suit for picnics. Plus an outdoor tennis court and a garden with the nicest view of mountains in here, I bet the sunset looks so amazing in here. Its my first time to see this kind of view, all in my life I didn’t know how beautiful outside the house is.
“Hey” Rose greeted while approaching us, carrying Darling with her. “I’m glad that Darling isn’t that heavy, or she can’t get inside the resort.” She shared to us
“Here are the keys, same roommates like yesterday” She distributed all the keys while our key stays in her hand, “Shall we take a look inside?” She asks
“YEAH!” Her friends exclaimed with glee and they rushed inside the resort. We took a tour around as I became the map guy since I’m holding the brochure. We went first to our rooms and place our luggage, changed our clothes into something a summer theme. I wore white long sleeve linen shirts with a tropical design, folded it thrice for a style and paired it up with light brown clean-cut shorts and brown boat shoes. While looking at the mirror and pushed back my jewfro hair, I saw Rose’s reflection coming out from the bedroom, wearing a red haltered collar and an asymmetrical bohemian dress with a side swept hair, sunhat and aviator sunglasses. The way I look at her is like the world is going a slow, she approached me with a beautiful smile attached into her face that I couldn’t stop staring at.
“Hey, why are you staring me like that?” She asks with a chuckle
“I uh- uhm- you-uhhh” I stutter, and she tilted her head in confusion which seems very adorable of her. I’m lost in her eyes, time by time her beauty is stunning”
“Ken?” She called
I chuckle and look down and covered my face with my palm after I felt my cheeks so warm. I gently rub my face and look straight at her. “I couldn’t even finish my sentence when I look at the most beautiful girl I saw in my entire life” I complimented her, and she giggles. I gently touch her face down to her chin, then tucked her hair behind her ears as it covers her eyes. She looks surprise and slowly smiles afterwards.
“I have something for you” She stated and move away from as she rummage for something in her luggage. She pulled out something brown from her luggage and when she approaches me, she let me wear a brown fedora hat saying “You are our map guy, so you need a hat for protection”
“My puffed hair…what have you done?” I ask her in a funny way, she laughs and fixes my hair by rubbing it and continued to place the hat on my head. She moves away and grab her purse and leashed Darling then wrap the leash on her palm, then she looked at me. By a look in her eyes, I know she wanted me to escort her so, I offer my arm and ask her, “Shall we?” she smiled at me when I ask her then she didn’t hesitate to warp her harm around mine and its not even that difficult for her to react since I’m just 2 inches tall from her. “We shall” she replied
