I made it...I finally found him, I can't stop my tears from falling. It is like a dream come true, I kept on looking for other guys who'll love without knowing that he was just right in front of me. My chest hurts so much, I'm so nervous, is he the one? will this guy I trust can love me, the way I love him? We slowly walk towards one another and when we meet my whole body is shaking and I couldn't stop crying.
"What's wrong?" he asks
"I don't know how to say this but... je vous aime aussi..." I reached for his cheeks and holds it gently and then I close my eyes and slowly pulled him close to my face and our lips touched. A tear rolled into my chin and when we both move away, we look into each other and he froze in surprise.
"If you think I don't feel the same, then you should think again" I chortle and tap his cheeks an act of slapping him softly
"Are you serious?" He asks nervously then I nodded for an answer. A big smile lit up into his face and so he tuck my hair behind my ear and hold my cheeks
he raise me into his lips and kissed me once more but only a quick second and we both hugged each other and felt both of our hearts warm.
--------Meanwhile at friends-----
Rose's friends hides on the bushes just to take a peek for Rose and Kenji so...
"Well, it looks like somebody won the
$ 3 000" Lukas chuckles with a snort
"Just for a rose? He had Rose just because of the rose he gave last night?!" Cooper exclaimed
"well, you suck on your stupid game" Kim insulted
"I want the dollars" Khan sobs
"Money down!" Heiley chuckles
"It looks like the two of you failed" Amy laughs at Cooper and Khan while covering her daughter's eyes
--------------Back to Rose-----------
"Let's go find the others" I said, but then they all showed from nowhere and now they are approaching us clapping their hands. That made me wonder so I crossed my arms and glares at them
"Why are you guys clapping?" I ask
“$ 3 000!” Lukas exclaimed as he hands out the cash towards Ken. I have no idea what’s that money for, then suddenly something came up in my mind. I remembered that today is the surgery of the other team and I’m a frustrated for no reason. I felt someone touch my shoulders and I got snapped out from spacing out
“Rose, is something wrong?” Heiley asks me. I looked at my friends looking at me worriedly, so I smiled at them to show them that I’m doing fine. “Nothing” I answered
“But…”
“But what?”
“Can we go to the hospital? I just suddenly remembered that today is the ambassador’s surgery” I said while frowning. They all looked into each other and obviously hesitating. Heiley walked towards Lukas and asks him “Hey babe, is it alright if we go to the hospital for a while?” but Lukas sighed and looked at Heiley “If that makes you feel better”
“Thanks…” I beamed at them
We went to the hospital where the surgery is happening, as we entered, there are a lot of medias wandering around the hospital. Perhaps they’re here for the ambassador’s result, I walk towards the hospital front desk and ask one of the nurses in duty “Uhm excuse me, Is Doctor Irene around?”
“May I know who’s asking?”
“I’m Doctor Diaz, I am…her friend” Well it took minutes for me to think of a word that is absolutely reasonable for the call, the rest of my friends laughing silently after I said the word ‘friend’ which is absolutely not gonna happen.
“She’s in the operating theater performing the surgery for the ambassador” She replied kindly
“Can I talk to his professor instead?’ I ask then somebody tap my shoulder, I glance and saw the professor I’ve been talking about. “oh”
“Doctor Lance at your service. Greetings Miss Rose” He introduces. “Great, I was looking over for you” I replied
“What brings you here Ms. Diaz? With your team…and friends?” He asks while glancing at them.” Actually, we are here for a vacation and then I remembered that today is the adjusted schedule of the surgery” He looked at me and think for a while before he answers me “Well yes, you’re right, the schedule was changed. Supposed to be the surgery will be next month but, my students have more surgeries to perform next month so the schedules changed”
“I see…well is it okay for us to take a look with my team?” I ask kindly
“Sure. Except for dogs because they aren’t allowed” He replied as he looked at Darling that Heiley carried around. I walk towards Heiley and whispered to her “Is it okay that Lukas will go with Darling?” I ask then she agreed and hand over Darling to Luke’s arms and went outside. Dr. Lance gave us visitor’s pass so that we can get into the faculty. We stepped inside and we saw a huge monitor and saw Irene and her team in the screen. “Perfect! They’re just about to start” Doctor Lance said. I focused on watching as they began to do the surgery, first is “Start with the general anesthesia” I whispered, and my team tilted their heads on me. Doctor Young let the patient inhale through the breathing mask and not for long, the patient is confirmed unconscious and they shall start the opening of the heart. I whispered “scalpel” at the same time Irene said and started to open the chest of the patient. Its already been hours they performed the surgery and I didn’t even blink but focused on how do the procedure carefully. Its time for Irene to take out the damaged valve and replaced it for a new one but then, an accident happens. While removing the valve, she seems cut something accidentally that made the heart bleeds excessively. I got alarmed and suddenly stood up from my seat, I saw the oxygen saturation is dropping from 60. I cant just stand here and watch the patient dies so I suddenly run outside then my friends screamed out for my name. I run towards the operating room to help them out but as soon as I got there, the ambassador’s security is blocking the door.
“Stop right there! Only the surgeons are allowed in here” They hoarse
“I am a surgeon! And they needed my help!” I screamed as I struggled to enter but they stopped me and push me back away. “Please! Can’t you see in that monitor?! The ambassador’s life is in danger!” I begged as my tears began to fall.
“The surgeons assigned can handle it” The guard rises his voice at me and pushed me back. I looked at the monitor where the surgery can be seen, I notice that the surgeons are in panic until...I froze and started to shiver as I saw its ECG monitor in a flatline, I pushed the security hard but then I heard…
“Daddy…” I glance behind me and saw a short girl crying while looking up in the monitor. “Lady Margarette!” one of the guards called her. The girl slowly walks towards me and hold my hand “Please save my daddy…please!” She begged and kneeled in front of me, I wipe of my tears and hold her cheeks. “I promise I will” I told her and then I stood up and face the security. “Let me in…order of the ambassador’s daughter!” I stand tall and fierce. “let her in please” Margarette ordered the two securities then they set aside an allow me to walk in. I rushed to enter the operating theater and wore my surgical uniform, then I entered the room. They’re all eyes in me and stopped on what they are doing.
