It is Saturday morning. Doing the same every day, have a bath, eat breakfast, pass by the flower shop to claim the rose that I reserved and leave it at Rose's front door then stop by the coffee shop. This time, I have my appointment with the Doc. Clayton for my check-up. I head towards the hospital and ride on a taxi, while in a ride, I grab my phone and see her latest post on Instagram. A photography of her new dog and Heiley. As I arrived, I went straight into Doctor Clayton's clinic. I knocked and he immediately opens the door
"Hey, look who's here. Hi Ken" He greeted
"Hey Doctor"
"Do come in"
I walked inside the clinic and sat on the chair beside of his desk. "So you're here for your appointment?" He asks as he take his seat
"Do I have any other reasons to be in here?" I ask in a fun way, he laughs and tap my shoulder "what a guy" He grab his stethoscope and walks close to me. He made me sit into the stretcher and checked my heartbeat.
"Remembered the girl I always talked about Clayton?" I ask
"Ahh yes, that Rose that you always talked about everytime you have your appointment with me" HE responds
"We met yesterday, she found me leaving the rose in front of her door" I chuckle
"Don't move...and then what happened" He ask
"We exchange calling cards and finally got her number"
"Ken, you don't have a calling card" He mocks. I stared at him badly and he just laughs
"I just gave her my number in a piece of paper"
A sudden knock on the door so Doctor Clayton walk towards the door and opens it. I was shocked as I saw Rose by the door talking to Clayton, wearing a doctor's coat and her hair tied in a ponytail. "Ms. Rose, what brings you here?" Clayton greeted at her with a quick glance at me
"Mr. Clayton, do you have a patient right now?" She asks as she take a peek, I immediately stood up and walked away from the stretcher.
"Kenji?" She asks as she saw me
"Hi uh... Rose" I greeted, I walk towards her and nervously smile "Are you Clayton's patient?" She asks
"Uhm...NO, I came here to visit my friend Clayton" I answer as I rested my arm at Clayton's shoulder
"Ahh I see" she nodded
"Doctor Clayton, you're needed at the faculty" She told Clayton "okay, I'll be right there a minute" He responds then she said goodbye.
Clayton closes the door and crossed his arms with a disappointed look at me. I sighed and frowns..." Just please, don't tell her" I beg
"Why are you lying at her?" He asks
"She doesn't have to know and besides, there's nothing between Rose and I, so there's no reason for me to tell her"
He nods and continued my check-up, not for long I got outside the clinic and on my way home. Then I saw Rose walking through the hallway, so I got curious and followed her. I don't know where she will go but just followed her, I stop and realize that I don't have to be so curious like this. I head back to where I came from, on my way to home. Unexpectedly, Rose got out from the faculty and it started me "Oh hey Ken" She greeted with a smile
"Rose..."
"Where are you going?" She asks
"I-I'm going home" I answer. I wanted to take her out, but I have no money left in my pocket after I paid it all to the taxi and just told her that I'm going home snice I can't do anything anymore.
