Diana's POV
7pm. Andun si Dylan sa Mamita niya ngayon kaya naisip kong bantayan na muna si Dino. Lumabas ako saglit para maghapunan sa isang fast food restaurant nang makita kong pumasok si Franki. This time may kasamang lalaki. Not just some guy. It's Ken Gil. Ano bang laban ko sa isang tulad niya?.
Kaya mo yan Diana. May Dino na diba? Wag kang papaapekto. Ano naman kung makahanap ng iba si Franki?. Labas ka na dun. Just give her a chance to find someone to love. Yung hindi siya sasaktan, yung siya lang talaga ang pipiliin. At hindi ikaw ang taong yun. Just let it be.
She looks happy. Tapos na silang umorder, tumuloy nalang ako sa pagkain. Kunwari di ko sila nakita but then,
"Diana--" biglang may bumati sakin. It's Ken Gil. Lumapit siya sakin. Nasa likod nya lang si Franki. Nakayuko.
"Hey. Ken. Franki--"
"Hi Diana--" Franki said as if she's guilty for a crime. Ni Hindi nga siya makatingin ng diretso sakin.
"Uhm can we?." Paalam ni Ken sakin to share the table.
"S-sure."
"Where's the lil' one?." Ken asked.
"Ah andun sa mother in law ko. Para makapagbond din. Uhm you, you're together. Business?."
"Minsan oo, madalas hindi. Let's just say, we're uh getting to know each other." Franki, magsalita ka naman. Don't just play with your food like that. Speak.
"Oh cool. I mean great. Alam mo, di ka magsisisi dito kay Franki. I swear, she's the best girlfriend ever. It feels magical, exciting, practical, fun and will certainly hurt your tummy for laughing so hard at her jokes." That moment, napatingin na si Franki sakin. We were just staring at each other while I'm talking.
"Hmm really?. How did you know naman? I mean the exact feeling?."
Paano ko hindi malalaman eh she was my girlfriend for as long as I can remember. She's my everything. But I can't tell him that. I don't think I ever will.
"Ah eh ano, because--ganun kasi siya bilang kaibigan. And para kay Franki, p-parang wala namang kaibahan yung friendship and being in a relationship. Right Franki?."
Tumango lang siya, forcing a smile as she looked at Ken.
"Wow. I wish I could just marry you right now." Ken said to her like he's so in love with the latter. Until I broke their moment.
"Eherm uh. Guys, sige ha. I think I need to go na. You guys enjoy. Babantayan ko pa kasi si Dino eh. Sige ah?. Ken, Franki." Umalis nako agad.
Hindi ko to kaya. Habang naglalakad ako palayo at papasok sa sasakyan ko iyak lang ako ng iyak. Sino bang niloloko ko?. Alam ko na kaya ako nasasaktan ng sobra is because hanggang ngayon mahal ko parin si Franki. Hindi naman kasi nawala yun eh. Pinipilit ko lang kombinsihin ang sarili ko na wala na kasi hindi pwede. Hindi talaga pwede.

Pumunta ako sa isang lugar kung saan walang masyadong tao. Sa isang lugar kung saan makikita ang mga ilaw galing sa mga bahay at buildings sa baba.

Kung hindi ko nalang sana siya pinakawalan dati, kung naghanap pa sana ako ng iba pang paraan para makasama pa siya, hindi sana ako magsisisi ngayon thinking of the what ifs and why didn't I.
Wala akong kwentang tao. Duwag ako. Ako nalang sana ang nakahiga ngayon hindi si Dino. Sana nga natuluyan nalang ako.
Pero bigla kong naisip si Dylan. Siya nalang pala ang dahilan kung bakit ginugusto ko pang mabuhay sa kabila ng lahat. Mahal na mahal ko ang anak ko kaya tinitiis kong wag balikan si Franki kahit yun naman talaga ang pinakagusto kong gawin.
Kung selfish lang sana ako. Kaso hindi. I learned how to be selfless because of Franki, the moment I let her go. And now, I learned how to be selfless because of Dylan. But this time, my option is to let go of Franki again so I could give Dylan the family that he deserves. All I want is to make my son happy and give him everything he needs.

Nagising ako sa tabi ni Dino. Umuwi na ako pagpasok ng nurses and doctor na nagmomonitor sa kanya.
Dumiretso narin ako sa office. May meeting ako ngayon with Mr. Ponce.
"Maraming fake jewelries out there na binebenta ng mura sa mercado. So, how would you convince those people to buy your expensive product?. Diba dapat deserve din ng mahihirap ang makatanggap ng mga regalong gawa ng Mackey Jewels? Pero papano kung masyado ngang mahal ito?." Tanong ni Mr. Ponce. I know humahanap na naman to ng butas sa kompanya. Napaisip ako.
"Diba po pag gustong gusto nyo po talagang makuha ang isang bagay pinaghihirapan nyo?. May iba pong unang tingin mo palang alam mo na na it's gonna be worth it. Na kahit maghirap ka man, you know it's gonna give you satisfaction in the end. Kung may kapangyarihan lang po sana ako, I'll definitely make my jewels free so everyone can have it. But it doesn't work that way. Dadating ang araw that the materials we used to create these masterpieces will run out. It takes time and pressure to create a beautiful diamond. The longer the process of creating such beauty, the higher it's value. Kaya pinaghihirapan, kaya iniingatan. You may be thinking that life is unfair but I'm telling you Mr. Ponce, it's not. Sometimes, life should be unfair so that you'll realize that the one you're fighting for is not the most important thing in life."

"Excuse me." Nag walk out nalang ako.
