tw: mention of blood.

-

The next morning, Jinx had woken you up by nudging you with his nose. When you adjusted to the light, you noticed doctors and nurses surrounding you, and Jinx's head was poking out from the small gap in between two doctors. He was worried about you.

You looked down at your arms and noticed that they were covered in blood, and you froze. "What is this! What is this!"

"Y/N, I'm going to need you to calm down." One of the nurses said. "Everything is okay."

Two doctors were holding you arms down, resulting in you thrashing in their grips. "Then why am I bleeding?!"

"Agent L/N." The room got quiet as Doctor Lee made her way to the end of your hospital bed. "You are a trained federal agent, and you're acting like this?"

You swallowed hard and sat back against your pillows. "I'm sorry. Please, tell me what happened."

"You don't remember?" Doctor Lee raised an eyebrow as you shook your head. "Y/N, you were scratching at your arms so bad this morning, you made yourself bleed. Jinx was having a fit, you made us all worry."

You sighed. "I'm sorry."

"We're just going to clean your arms up and bandage them, okay?" Another doctor said. "Just stay still, it might burn since the scratches are quite deep."

You nodded as they started cleaning your wounds, the stinging sensation making you wince every now and then. They bandaged your arms, all the way from your wrist up to the crease in your elbow - the scratches were severe. The doctors and nurses left, so Doctor Lee and Jinx both sat by your bed.

"You really don't remember doing that to yourself?" She asked.

You shook your head. "No."

Jinx whined and lifted his leg up to your bed, his paw resting by your torso. "Y/N, this is serious."

"I don't know what's happening, Doctor Lee. I've never felt like this before."

"I don't think I've ever seen something like this is all my years of work," she admitted. "But it's not looking good."

"How is she, Doctor?"

Everyone was in Doctor Lee's office. The boys, your brother, Blade, Changmin. After they heard what you did to your arms, they all rushed over to the hospital to see what happened.

"She's not looking good, at all." Doctor Lee confessed. "She's not eating, she's losing pigment, she's lost a lot of weight. About an hour after we patched her arms up, she crashed. We stabilized her, but she's going through serious breakdowns. I'm afraid it's a serious mental disorder."

Everyone looked at Changmin accusingly. "You said she'd be okay." Chan said.

"I know. I didn't think she would be this affected." Changmin replied. "Our orders are still non-negotiable. We can't pull back."

"She's sick, Changmin." Blade whispered. "She's about to break."

"Not my call." Changmin shook his head. "She's strong. It looks bad now, but she'll recover."

An alarm started going off, doctors and nurses started rushing in the direction of your room, and Doctor Lee's personal assistant swung the door to her office open.

"It's Y/N."

Doctor Lee stood up and rushed out of the room, but two other doctors were already rushing you out of the room. There was blood everywhere, the bandages were ripped off your arms, you were crying, shaking your head and thrashing around in the doctors grips.

"Let go of me!" You screamed. "Don't touch me!"

Your friends watched in horror, the hair covering your face, the amount of blood on your body and clothes, the way Jinx was running behind you, trying to make sure you were okay.

You put your feet on the ground, stopping the doctors movements as you were stronger than they anticipated. Your laughter grew and you kicked around, until finally Doctor Lee grabbed your wrist and injected Haloperidol. You were out in less than a minute, limp and fragile as the doctors escorted you into the back of an escort van, Jinx hopping in after you and laying by your side.

Your friends followed close by after Doctor Lee, and Ki-Bum stared at the van worriedly. "Where are they taking her?"

"Yongin Mental Hospital." She said. "She'll be treated as a patient there."

The group looked between each other, and Chan stepped forward. "Have you diagnosed her with something?"

"After careful observation, research, and discussion, we have an idea of what it might be." Doctor Lee informed. "Schizoaffective Disorder. It's very severe."

"Jinx gets to stay with her, right?" Blade asked.

Doctor Lee nodded. "Yes. We believe he can help her, even if it's a little bit. Visitation hours will be very limited as she settles in, but please stay by her side. She needs support now more than ever before."

You were staring at the window, straight jacket tight around your body. You threw you head back and took a deep breath, looking down at a concerned Jinx.

"Come here, boy."

He made a little noise and laid at your feet, so you rubbed his tummy with your feet. He was helping - he was filling up a small portion of the hole in your chest.

"Y/N?" You looked over at your doorway and nodded silently. "I'm Doctor Kwon, your new doctor."

You nodded silently again, and the room became tense, not that you really cared. She sighed and leaned against the wall.

"So, you were a federal agent?"

You looked over, you eyes boring into hers. "I still am."

"Okay." She nodded. "Why don't you tell me about yourself?"

"You seem to know what you need to know already."

"Y/N, I'm just trying to be a better doctor, okay? The more I know about you, the better I can take care of you."

"I don't need to be taken care of." You bit. "I'm capable on my own."

"Yet, you're here?"

You sighed. "I'm sorry. This is just so out of the ordinary for me. I can't accept it."

"The faster you accept it, Y/N," she paused. "The faster you'll get out of here."
