-Everyone on the jet was asleep and you still had a few hours until you got back to Seoul. Jeanne must've been extremely tired, because she had been asleep for a while, same for Jisung. Taejun was sleeping as well, his cuffed wrists in his lap and his head to the side.
It gave you a moment to breathe, to really take in the fact that you had taken down a terror cell and had a breathing Jisung by your side. To take in the fact that you had given a young girl another chance to be a young girl. To take in the fact that you had an amazing new team member who'd always have your back, and his name was Jinx. To take in the fact that you were bringing Taejun back to the agency to question him and really get under his skin.
You wanted nothing more than a taste of blood, and it would be Taejun's whether he liked it or not.
You heard a noise to your right that brought you out of your thoughts and made you look over at Jeanne. Her eyes were shut tight, she was moving uncomfortably on the couch and she seemed to be having a dream. You heard her mumble 'no' and 'stop' under her breath.
You slipped out of Jisung's grip and went over to Jeanne, sitting next to her on the couch. You grabbed her shoulder and shook her awake, but when her eyes opened, she jumped up and backed into the corner of the couch.
"Hey," you whispered. "It's just me."
She wasn't looking at you, she was looking passed you, so you followed her gaze to Taejun.
"Don't look at him," you said as you switched spots with her so that her back was to him. "Look at me."
You could feel her shaking under your hand, and you were afraid that you knew what she was dreaming about, but you didn't want to assume. "Y/N, I don't want to be around him anymore."
Her voice was quiet, almost inaudible. "I know. You don't have to worry about him, okay? I'll take care of him."
She nodded and wrapped her arms around your neck, so you patted her back. "I'm sorry for letting them do all of that stuff to you. You were so kind to help me and I wish I could show you how grateful I am for that."
"You have, Jeanne." You whispered. "You helped me catch them. Thank you so much for that."
Your hand went to the back of her head and you patted her hair down gently. You looked back at Taejun, just wishing that you would've caught it sooner- his intentions.
"Can you tell me about this necklace?" Jeanne asked.
You pulled back and looked down at the 'Family' necklace hanging around your neck. "My friends back home got it for me, including him." You pointed to Jisung and smiled. "His name is the only with with a heart by it. They got it for me after we put my dad away. I'll introduce you to them when this is all over."
"That's sweet." She smiled. "Maybe I'll find people like that one day."
"You will, Jeanne. I don't doubt it for a second."
The jet landed on the runway and you and Jeanne were still the only ones awake. You shook Jisung awake and got Jeanne and Jinx off the plane. You walked up to Taejun and tugged harshly on the handcuffs, jerking him awake.
"Rude." He stated. "Be nice."
"You don't deserve 'nice'."
You and Jisung walked him off the plane, putting him in a separate car while you, Jisung, Jeanne and Jinx got in the other car. As you were driving, Jisung looked over at you.
"Can you introduce me to Jeanne now?" He smiled. "And Jinx?"
You glanced at him and smiled back. "Jeanne, this is Jisung. Jisung this is Jeanne. Jinx say hi."
Jinx barked in response and Jisung reached back to pet him. "It's nice to meet you, Jeanne. Y/N told me about you."
"It's nice to meet you, too." She replied. "Where are we going?"
"To our agency."
At the words, your stomach flipped a little bit, and so did Jisung's. You were both thinking the same thing and feeling the same feeling. You both felt anger at the lack of information, but you also missed the guys. You just weren't sure how to talk to them and neither was Jisung.
When you pulled up to the agency, everyone got out and you grabbed the chain on the handcuffs, walking Taejun in front of you.
You and Taejun took a different elevator so you could take him to interrogation. He was very displeased with the way you threw him down into the chair and left.
When the three J's got off the elevator, Changbin was the first to see them. "Guys! It's Jisung!"
Felix huffed. "You're seeing him, too? I think I'm starting to miss him too much."
"No, he's right there!" Changbin exclaimed.
Everyone stood up and watched as Jisung walked to his desk, sitting on it. "It's nice to see you guys again, too."
During their big group hug, you walked into the squad room and waved Jeanne to your desk, where you pulled your chair back and let her sit down.
"Where's Y/N?" Jeongin asked as he pulled away from the hug.
Jisung looked over at your desk and everyone followed his gaze. Your back was to them, and you were brushing out your hair. You had felt like a hot mess ever since the first day in the warehouse, and it felt nice to brush your hair out.
"Jeanne, can you grab a shirt out of that backpack right there?" You asked.
She hummed and grabbed a shirt, one of Jisung's, and you changed shirts without showing anything to the whole office. You sighed, feeling somewhat clean, and turned around. You barely spared them a glance as you grabbed your gun off your desk and put it in the holster of your belt.
"Is she mad at us?" Hyunjin asked.
"I can't blame her." Jisung shrugged. "I was too, but I'm already over it."
"Why?" Minho questioned. "Does it have something to do with-"
"Not telling her I was alive? Oh, yeah." Jisung said. "But we can talk about that later. Y/N is about to interrogate Taejun and I don't want to miss it."
So, they all headed to interrogation, and Jisung even brought Jeanne along.
