TW: (verbally) Abusive relationshipZak POV
I wanna go far away from you.
"Zak, I'm sorry." Dave said, "I know I messed up!"
"Dave, you've done this too many times." I said, my voice shaking.
"Please Zak, I love you." Dave said.
"I can't-"
"Fine then, break up with me, see how it'll go." He yelled, "Nobody will ever love you except me."
"I need a minute." I ran to my room, locking the door behind me.
But I don't wanna know how it feels to be alone.
I sat in my chair and began to cry. This is the 3rd time he's cheated on me. I don't know how much longer I can take this.
Why haven't I broken up with him?
Maybe it's because he's right.
No one will ever love me, except him.
If you can even call this love.
I'm confused.
I need a break.
I glanced at my window and sighed. I put on my shoes, not bothering to change. I opened the window and climbed out, hopping down.
I wanna go be alone.
I walked in a random direction, not knowing where I was going. I felt it start to rain as I walked farther. I kept walking until I reached the park.
But I don't wanna know how it feels.
I sat down on the bench, pulling my knees to my chest. I couldn't help but begin to cry as I got soaked by the rain.
Suddenly, I heard someone sit next to me.
I wanna go be alone.
"Hey, are you okay?" I heard someone say.
I looked up and saw someone that looked a little older than me. He had blond hair, green eyes, and glasses.
I shook my head and I felt him grab my hand, "What's your name?"
"Zak." I mumbled.
"Okay Zak, I'm Darryl." He replied, "What happened?"
I heard a shout in the distance, "Zak, what are you doing?"
I turned to see Dave approaching me, I looked back at Darryl. He must have seen the worry in my eyes because he squeezed my hand reassuringly as Dave walked up to us.
But I don't wanna know.
"Zak, who the fuck is this?" Dave spat, looking at Darryl.
"I just met him." I admitted.
Dave looked down at our clasped hands, "Get your hand off my boyfriend."
Dave grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him, "We're going home."
I felt Darryl grab my shoulder, but he was much more gentle.
"I know you don't want to go with him." He whispered.
I pulled my hand out of Dave's grip and looked at both of them on either side of me.
I'm confused.
