I settled into bed, ready to finally sleep. I stayed up a bit too late, trying to finish editing. I did finish, but now it was 2 am, and I was exhausted.
I began drifting off when I heard my phone go off. I decided to ignore it but it went off again.
I opened my eyes and grabbed my phone, annoyed. I looked at my notifications and saw that skeppy messaged me.
I clicked on the notifications to see what he wanted:

I sighed and stood up, putting on my glasses. I walked over to my computer and turned it on.

I opened team speak and almost instantly I heard;

"Hi." Skeppy said.
"What do you want?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.
"Why can't I just talk to you?" Skeppy asked.
"Is this a troll?" I said, already frustrated.
"No, what do you mean?" He replied.
"You can't be serious." I replied, "Skeppy, it's past 2 am."
"Oh yeah." He said, laughing.
"Now did you need anything?" I asked.
"I can't sleep." He said.
I sighed, "Well getting in bed would be a good start."
"You think I haven't tried that, idot." He replied.
I groaned, "Just call someone else, I'm tired."
"But I wanna call you." He said.
"Well I don't want to talk to you, Skeppy." I said, "Now go away."
"Fine, I'll go." He said, sounding hurt.
I quickly began to feel guilty and said, "No wait, I'm sorry!"
"So I can stay?" He asked.
I sighed, "Yes, you can stay."
So that's how we ended up talking until 4 am. I noticed he sounded tired so I decided it was time to go.
"This has been fun, but it's way too late." I said.
"Yeah, you're right." Skeppy said, "Thanks for staying with me."
"You're welcome." I replied.
"You know you're my bestest friend ever, right Bad?" He said suddenly.
I felt myself begin to blush, flustered by the sudden comment.
"Y-Yeah and you're mine too." I replied, "Well I'm tired, I better go to bed."
"Yeah you're ri-"
"Okay bye!" I said, leaving the call.
I turned off my computer and got into bed. And I couldn't help but smile as I fell asleep.
