Zak POV
Once upon a time, everyone ignored me, except him.
Day 1
I walked into class quietly and sat at my desk. I simply pulled out my notebook to begin class. I looked to my left and saw a boy, Darryl, smiling at me.
I smiled back and gave a quick wave, which he returned. I smiled to myself as I began my work.
Day 2
I walked into class once again, same routine. I pulled out my notebook and heard someone sit beside me.
"Hey." He said.
"Hi." I replied.
We didn't talk for the rest of class.
Day 3
He came and sat next to me again. We talked about things that we like doing, turns out we have a lot in common.
Day 4
I learned he really likes video games, just like me. I asked him why he was hanging out with me, he said I seemed nice.
I think I like him.
Day 5
We talked a lot today, just about random stuff. A few people kept giving us weird looks, he told me to ignore them.
Day 6
Over the weekend I thought about him a lot. He sat next to me again, but he was quiet today.
Day 7
People kept staring at us today, not in a good way. We didn't talk much. Maybe he's just tired.
Day 8
He didn't even look at me.
Day 9
Did I do something wrong?
Day 10
I'm alone again.
