TW: Homophobic ppl
Zak POV

I smiled as I slowly opened my front door, going inside. I closed it behind me quietly, locking it. I can't get him out of my head. His green eyes and the way he smiles.

We just went out on our first date, just me and Darryl. I had to sneak out because my parents are homophobic, but it was worth it.

I walked to my room, careful not to make a sound. Light shined from underneath my door, which was weird because I thought I turned off the lights. I probably just forgot.

I opened the door and jumped back as I saw my parents and my sister in there.

I laughed nervously, "What are you all doing here?"

"We know your secret, Zak." My sister said.

"Sorry I snuck out." I apologized, "I won't do it again."

"Not that." My dad said, "We know you have a boyfriend."

My heart dropped as I stumbled backwards.

"It's okay, sweetheart." My mom whispered, "We'll get you fixed soon."

"Fixed?" I exclaimed, "There's nothing to fix!"

"I told you he's been brainwashed." My dad said to my mom.

"He makes me feel good, is that so bad?" I said with tears in my eyes.

"All that social media is getting to you." My dad said, "We're taking away your phone."

I felt tears roll down my face as my phone got snatched from my hands.

"Now go to bed, we'll deal with this in the morning." My mom said.

"You won't want him anymore when we're done with you."

"Because you'll be fixed."
