"We totally have to find a Halloween party," Kevin said from the back seat of the range. We were driving back to the house, Colby and I up front with Kevin and Reggie in the back.
"What if we threw one? At the house?" Reggie suggested.
"Can we even do that?" I asked.
"I don't know, but that sounds kind of sick. We should ask Sam to call Matt and see. But who would we invite?" asked Colby. "Obviously there's the ten of us, but does that really count as a party?"
"Oh shit, I didn't think of that," Kevin said.
"The locals don't seem to want to come near this place, so I'm not sure that inviting anyone would even be worth our time," said Reggie.
"Okay, then a Halloween kickback," I said.
"If we can convince the girls to come out here, that is," Kevin said.
"I bet they'll do it for a little party. It's Halloween, for god's sake," said Reggie.
"How did none of us even think of the fact that we'd be here on Halloween?" asked Colby.
"I have no idea," I replied.
We pulled up to the mansion we were staying in a couple hours later, beating the other guys there. We all went inside to hear a loud scream coming from the kitchen.
Colby immediately dropped his camera bag and sprinted over to see what was going on, all of us reluctantly trailing behind him.
"Oh, Jesus. You scared us," I heard Colby say with a laugh.
"Sorry," Tara giggled. The rest of us went all the way into the kitchen to see Devyn wiping something black off of her shirt.
"Tara just decided she wanted to throw frozen yogurt at Devyn," Kat giggled.
"Frozen yogurt? That shit's blacker than I am," said Kevin.
"Oh my god," I muttered.
"I know! We saw this cute little frozen yogurt shop on the way home and stopped at it. The lady in there recognized us and gave us a couple gallons of their seasonal Halloween yogurt, which they dye black," said Tara.
"Yeah, how did none of us notice we'd be here on Halloween?" Devyn asked.
"We were just talking about that," Reggie said.
"And we have no answer," Colby added.
"Speaking of Halloween...," Kevin started.
"Brother, let's find a party to go to," I heard Jake say from behind us. We all turned around to see the rest of the guys come into the kitchen.
"That's actually what I was getting at," said Kevin. "Obviously not like a full out party, but we could have a little kickback with all ten of us and just drink some down at the house of horrors. Seems like a pretty cool Halloween spot, no?"
"Actually... I'd be down," said Tara.
"Wait, really?" Jake asked excitedly.
"Me too," said Kat.
"Well I'm not staying here alone, so I guess I'm in too," said Devyn.
