I walked down Ogre Street, seeing if Speedwagon was back from his adventure yet. It had been almost a year since we saw each other, and he told me that it was imperative that he go help a 'Jonathan Joestar' put down a great evil. I would be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of this Jonathan man, but it's not like me and Speedwagon were official. I couldn't do that to him and ruin his reputation. I dare say I love the man, but I can't let him be hurt because of the fact that he had a lover.

"Hey Miss (Y/n)! Last round o' the night?" a local thug in Speedwagon's group called out.

"Yeah, just seein' if the boss is back yet. Lemme know if you see 'im around would ya?"

"Got it! See ya tomorrow!" He waved and walked off to his little cut out in the buildings along the alley we were in. Being close with Speedwagon was nice in the group, since everyone respected him so by association they respected me. I kept walking down the street and, to my surprise, bumped into a tall man.

"Sorry mister, I didn't see-" I stopped in my tracks when I looked up and was met with the face of the man I love so much. "Speedwagon?"

"Good evenin' (Y/n)," he said with a small smile. "Fancy seein' you out so late." I laughed a little and so did he. "Sorry for keeping you waiting, dear."

My face went red. I've always been weak for when he called me those names, and after a year of not having him call me them made it feel like euphoria. He gently took my hand and brought me to a skinny house on the edges of the city, quite a decent ways away from where we were.

"Mr. Joestar was nice enough to give us a house for my help in the battles, even though I don't think I helped all that much." I looked up at the townhome in amazement and back at him with astonishment.

"I'll have to meet this Mr. Joestar to thank him! And you always sell yourself short, honey." I took his hand and pulled him into a tight hug, laughing as his long hair tickled my nose. "But I might yell at him a bit for taking you away from me for so long." I sighed deeply into his neck.

"I'm sorry dear, but if you should yell at anyone it's me. I offered to go when he told me I didn't have to." He pushed me away from his neck to look me in the eyes. "I pride myself on being a man and gentleman, but I failed to be that for you. I feel like I ran away."

"Honey, you were trying to repay him for sparing you that day at the end of the alley, and what could you possibly be running from? If it's me, tell me." I looked at him, trying to hide the fear that he felt so trapped he had to run away on a perilous journey to hide from.

He placed his calloused hand on my cheek and ushered me into the house. "I was running from my feelings, not you. I asked for a house instead of money, and I came back as soon as we got back to London. I- I wanted to come back to you because I found out something." He pulled my head into his strong chest and he rubbed my back. "But before I tell you all of that, we should see what Mr. Joestar got us." He pulled away and smiled down at me, grasping my hand.

We walked up a small staircase to a library room, empty of course, but beautiful none the less. Down the hall was a small room that was surprisingly fitted with a crib and a changing table. I glanced at him with my eyebrow raised and he quickly ushered me to the stairs again and we climbed to the top floor, and it was just a bedroom. It had a nice bed and cotton sheets, the whole nine yards.

"Wow, this is amazing. I've got to thank Mr. Joestar, even if you don't want to." He pulled my back to his chest and kissed the top of my head. His hands rested on my shoulders and he squeezed them.

"We can thank him later, but I want to talk to you about something first." He spun me around and grasped my hands in his as he knelt down to look up at me. "I know we've been unofficially together for some time, but I would like to skip a step. I know I don't have a ring, or anything more than a house and few pennies to my name, but I would be honored if you would take me, Robert Edward Oswald Speedwagon, as your husband."

My eyes began to water as I realized that he loved me enough to propose. I smiled and tackled him in a tight hug. "Of course I will! I've loved you for so long, but I didn't want to burden you so I never said anything! I love you, Robert Edward Oswald Speedwagon, and I will for the rest of my life." He picked me up and placed me on the bed, behind me.

"May I, my dear?" I smiled and nodded.

"Of course," I whispered.

He brought his lips to mine and gently kissed them. He slowly gained passion and love, pressing me into the bed. I slipped off his jacket and he took off his hat. He sat up and gently pulled me up with him.

"Future Mrs. Speedwagon, would you do me the honor of moving in with me?"

"As long as I don't have to do it in secret," I wink at him and he lays me down next to him and we pick up where we left off. Tonight is going to be a long night for the neighbors.
