Pirates of Cevaria

Prologue

There's a world out there many of us want to see. Some of us live to never see the day. Some of us spend most of our lives chasing it just to never find it. It's this secret, this legend, this myth that has everyone searching endlessly for something bigger out there than ourselves. It's a treasure that goes beyond the physical, beyond any man made contraption or lost island uncharted.

The only problem?

Every Pirate on this planet is after it.

And the thing is, our world is full of pirates.

Pirates rule the seas, they make it unsafe for average folk to travel anywhere, unless they have an armada of sorts to accompany them. But even then, most of these pirates are slick and tenacious, more than even the strongest of men in a highly trained Navy. And most people are afraid of the pirates, so not many travel out to sea.

But even Pirates have things they fear themselves, fears they avoid like the plague if possible.

And in this case, there are only two things to fear in this world.

The first is the deadliest part of the sea known as Beasts of Many Hells, where creatures larger than man made ships are rumored to exist and kill without leaving a trace.

And their other fear?

The Pirate Queen.

The ruler of the sea. She has been known to control the sirens, to step foot on lands which no man would enter. She has used her own body as a way to maneuver through even the most untamed men to get what she wants, right before killing them without mercy. Over time she built quite a reputation, one that has brought her many allies.

Those that stand beside her do not fall. If they so much as attempt to betray her, she will have them mercilessly killed in front of everyone and make it known that they will meet the same fate. The Queen has the respect and loyalty of every pirate at sea. And the Queen promises a share of her treasures to anyone who finds the map. The one that leads to the greatest treasure of all. No one at sea is smart enough or brave enough to defy her. No one dare not follow her every wish, command and order.

No one, except....

Zyrena.

A legend known throughout the seas.

And though she is far younger than the Pirate Queen herself, they both pose equal fame throughout this world.

This infamous pirate captain has led an army smaller than the Queens fleet through treacherous waters, plagued islands, abandoned towns, the deadliest seas and more. And each time, she returned with something new.

Something the Queen would always lack.

A treasure of no human value.

And what that may be, you might ask?

Well if you keep reading, you will soon come to find out for yourself.

For this is a story that goes beyond just the tellings of mysterious uncharted lands and the shenanigans of pirates at sea.

This story is about the strongest pirate captain our world has ever seen, and though she may appear as an average girl at first, you'll soon come to find what makes her the legend that all know her to be.

This story is about her. Zyrena.

A young girl born into the world of pirates.

A world that brought upon a life she did not choose but made the most of.

A world where you can adventure beyond the seas and lands, dash into battles above and below, and find remarkable treasures beyond the known.

And this is the world we were born into.

The world known as Cevaria.
