I went to my room and saw my mom and Jack there. Nakita kong nakahiga na sa kama si Jack. I heard some sob from my mom. Napakunot ang noo ko at nilapitan siya. She glanced at me and smiled

I sat beside her on the bed. Tears are running out of her eyes.

"What's wrong, mom?" I asked her and rubbed her back.

"It's just. I think Jack deserves to know his father no matter what. Earlier he talked to me about him wanting to meet his father.. nasabi niya pa na kung hindi man daw siya makita ang tatay niya, kahit ikaw nalang daw ay kuntento na siya.." My mom said while looking at my son. My jaw dropped and realized something, guilt.

"M-mom, actually Tecson and I are communicating. And we work together.. but, I'm still trying to wait some time." I told her. My tears are rolling down now on my cheeks.

I felt my mom's hand on mine. Napatingin ako roon.

"Ry, I think you should tell him now. Don't be scared! I know you have been scared before because of what reality brought you. But it's different now.. malay mo ay wala namang masama sa pagsasabi sakaniya diba.." My mom said. Tuloy tuloy ang luha na lumalabas sa mata ko.

"Mom.. I think you're right. Natakot man ako noon dahil sa mga nangyari sa akin. But now it is my son, who's talking about. I should let him meet his father and stop relying on the expectations.." I smiled at my mom. She nodded and chuckled but still crying. She hugged me so hard. I missed this..

Umalis na sila mom and dad. I caught my kuya earlier talking on his phone. Umalis na sila lahat at kami nalang ang natira dito ni Jack. My mom will be here tomorrow to take care of Jack. Napatingin ako kay Jack na natutulog ng mahimbing.

I'm sorry for saying to you that you will meet your father soon. Pero wala naman talaga. Nadala ako ng mga nangyayari sa amin at dahil doon nakakalimutan ko na ang nararamdaman mo. I'm really sorry, son.

"I love you.." I kissed his forehead and decided to sleep.

Nagising ako dahil sa pag gising sa akin ni Jack. He shaked my body to wake me up! Natawa ako doon dahil ang cute niya tignan.

"Mommy, wake up! You have work." Seryoso niyang sabi. Napangiti ako sa pagiging seryoso niya. Hindi naman sa akin namana iyon. Tumayo na ako at naligo. I already texted my mom to come here. Sakto naman na pagkalabas ko ng banyo ay nandoon na siya. I am now wearing a white tube top and a cargo pants. Nilugay ko ang buhok ko at naglagay ng kaunting make up.

Bumaba na ako para kumain. I already saw mom and Jack at the table. Tapos na pala magluto si mom. I heard my phone beeped. 

Tecson:

Morning. Eat your breakfast.

Napakunot ang noo ko doon. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang ibibigay kong reaksyon!

To Tecson:

Currently at the table. Hope you eat too.

Napapikit ako sa sinabi. Bakit ang bilis bilis mong bumigay Ry! Dumiretso na ako para kumuha ng pagkain. I put some of vegetables on Jack's plate. Sumimangot siya pero wala siya magagawa.
