It was a Saturday. Shreya and Sangeeta had decided to go out for dinner. So they departed from their apartment and walked through the streets towards a well known restaurant.

They sat next to each other and ordered some Chinese food. The food was absolutely amazing.
"Hey! You were right. This is so delicious! ", Shreya exclaimed with joy.

"I told you! I am never wrong about food! Haha!". Sangeeta today looked a lot more fresh than any other day. Actually something happened today morning.

Sangeeta woke up and found out a text message from an unknown number.
>>[ Hey! It's been long, Sangeeta!
      It's me! Saurav! ]

Sangeeta jumped out of her bed as she replied to him.

Shreya knew this. Actually, Saurav and Shreya had already grown very close and there was no reason for Shreya to keep it a secret anymore. So, when Saurav told her that he wanted to contact his bestie again, Shreya gave her the idea that he could text her.

Because sometimes texts are more easily sent than face-to-face conversations are made.

Shreya realized that from her own experience.

Sangeeta didn't question anything about this to Shreya, as she had idea what could've happened.

While having the dinner Sangeeta seemed to have a good mood.

"You remember? Me and Anusha were always in search of restaurants whenever we were having an outing!", Sangeeta merrily asked as she filled her mouth with a piece of chicken.

"Yes! And Preetha and Piya would focus on the outing more than eating! ", She laughed heartily.

"Exactly. You and Nimisha had been balancing us. And Amrita seldom joined us for outings. We missed her."
Sangeeta stated.

"Yeah! But she stuck to us whenever we were in college. " , Shreya reminisced.

Sangeeta sighed. "We were so different but so together."

Having mentioned their names, they felt that they could talk about some untold things.

"Do you talk to Piya?" , Sangeeta asked her cautiously.

"Umm.. not really! Sometimes we do! Not frequently", Shreya replied patiently.

"But the rest of us never understood the problem between you two."

"I don't know! Things could have been better. We just had missed the right moment to solve everything", Shreya said calmly. " What about Preetha?"

"We barely talked after our fight. The problem was not faith. It was our ego!" Sangeeta said that as she finished her meal.

"We have become mature, you see. Now we can see our faults too." , Shreya smiled at her friend.

After the payment, they came out of the restaurant and headed towards the ice cream stall.

All of a sudden, a car came down the lane and stopped right in front the two girls. A familiar voice was heard from inside.
"Dinner, huh Newbie! But where's Saurav!", Teasing in his voice.

It didn't take Shreya a second more, to guess who it was. "Is saying stupid stuffs in your routine? " She huffed.

"That's my favorite! Oh - hello! " , The boy came out of the car and greeted Sangeeta.

"Sangee, Shivam Avasthi. Shivam, my friend Sangeeta. ", Shreya did the introduction.

"Oh heard about you Shivam" , Sangeeta smiled at him.

"Yeah, me too.. well did you have any plans? I mean if I'm disturbing, you can tell me. You guys can carry on--", Shivam asked.

He is sounding so humble! Shreya thought.

"No no, just going to have some ice cream." Sangeeta replied. "Wanna have some? "

"Um sure! I like ice cream. But I've a condition."
Both of the girls looked at him.
"I'll treat you both.." , he chuckled.

"Since when is he this friendly! My God! ", Shreya mumbled within her breathe. They couldn't but agree to the treat.

Sangeeta was having a trouble while choosing her ice cream. Shreya whispered to her, "Grab anything. He's paying after all. Hey have that big one."

"Hey! Shut up! Why are you being like this to him! ", Sangeeta told in a low voice and laughed at her friend.

The three had some good chats at the ice cream stall and Shivam insisted to give them a ride to their apartment. Their protests didn't work and he dropped them at the gate of their apartment.

Shivam peeked out of the window of the car to bid them goodbye.
"See you tomorrow", he said looking at Shreya.

"Wait ! Tomorrow's Sunday!" Shreya exclaimed. "You're not seeing me!"

"Oh yeah! I forgot! It's been a habit now, you know!" He smiled.

What habit? Whose habit! What's he saying.

The car vanished down the street. Sangeeta cleared her voice and said, "looks like he's expecting to see you tomorrow!"

"Come on!" , Shreya punched on her shoulder lightly. "By the way, did he text you? "

" Yes he did." Sangeeta narrowed her eyes to Shreya, "you gave him the number, right!" She half grinned.

"Yes! ", Shreya's childish chuckle made Sangeeta laugh. "Let's go", they headed towards the lift of the building to go to the 7th floor.

The day was good! And there was a song Shreya wanted to listen to today.
No particular reason. Just because she felt good!

I hear the far-away ocean
Across the dream, over the horizon
I’m going to the place that’s getting clearer
Take my hands now
You are the cause of my euphoria--
