>> Guess what! You have to come back Kolkata! Hehe! Ask me why!

Sangeeta wiped her tears and chuckled at her texts.

She didn't change at all.

                           Tell me why? <<

>> Getting married.

                            Nice joke <<

>> Hey, come on. Shreya fell for this one.
She believed I was getting married. XD

  You texted her?<<

>> Yeah. Called her. Just now.

                            So..
                      Who's getting married? <<

>> my Bro!
     You don't believe it right!
     Neither me!
     XD

This girl. I feel better though. Sangeeta thought.

Haha. So when is it? <<

>> Next month.
      Yippee.

Okay. So that's the reason you texted me after so many months. I just thought you forgot me...  :( <<

                       ______________

" Oh and I just thought you are getting married! " , Shreya huffed.

"Come on, Shreya, who falls for this joke? " And Shreya could only hear Anusha's giggles.

"And who cracks such jokes.. ", Shreya shouted at the innocent girl in the line.

"Don't scold me. Just acknowledge that you fell for my joke ", Anusha replied.

"So .. calling after so many years! No ages! Where were you! I thought you shifted to another planet! ", Shreya smirked.

"Naah! I'm not going anywhere. Earth is my favorite. ", Anusha chuckled.

"So how's life going?"

                      _____________

"Boulterene! Fireeeeee! "

Sangeeta almost got a heart attack.

"Whoa!  What the hell is wrong Shreya? ", She asked with one hand clutching on her heart.

"Ah sorry.. the pan fried noodles.. ugh.. I can't control my emotions when I'm cooking.. ", and Shreya continued singing some Korean song, supposedly with her own lyrics.

Sangeeta had lost hopes on her. She was not going to stay in India for long. Sangeeta's gut feeling said that she would probably dumb Shivam anyday because that boy would never be able to take her to South Korea, specifically  to her oppas.

Once Sangeeta sarcastically asked Shivam about South Korea.

"Do you know anything about their culture? Their songs? "

Shivam thought for one or two long minutes before answering that he had listened to "Oppa gangnum style".

Okay. So she is gonna chew his head up. I pity you Shivam. She thought.

Three weeks had passed since Saurav was discharged from the nursing home and his family took him home. Shreya and Sangeeta visited him, too, with some fruits and flowers.

Saurav at first was a bit ashamed to face Sangeeta as he didn't tell her anything about Mitali beforehand. Sangeeta also wanted to ask why.

But she didn't.

That meaningless curiosity would only hurt me, Shreya.

This was her reply to Shreya, to the question which Sangeeta's heart had already asked long ago, at the day of the accident.

Let's slip that. Let's not think anymore.

Well, about the accident, Saurav was interrogated by the police.

From the police, they came to know that it was a road accident where a loaded truck crashed into Saurav's cab and it was fate or some miracle that he was alive.

There was another thing they came to know. Mitali didn't stay in Pune. She worked somewhere in Mumbai. That was the prime reason, Saurav had enough time to spend with Sangeeta.

Because, if Mitali stayed in Pune too, he would be meeting his fiance at a regular basis and as a matter of fact, he would never have been able to give Sangeeta so much time he gave.

Fate, isn't it?

                    _______________
Shreya's  P O V:

"Shreya, the boss is calling you.." , Sonam came out of the boss's room and informed me it.

"What? Why?" , I started to ask her all the questions that came to my mind.

She narrowed her eyes at me. "Am I wearing suit and tie? Do I have a big moustache?
AM I BOSS?" , she created a whispered shout.

"Ah.. cool! Fine.. I'm going. " And I headed towards that room which I didn't ever liked in my short career.

And I was going to talk to a person whom I fear the most in Pune. Yes, the whole city I said.

"May I come in Sir?", He didn't look up and just started what he had to tell me.

Hey ! I deserve a better welcome than that.

All that he said to me, in short, was there was a project in hand. And there was supposed to be a cold war among his deserving employees for completing that project, which might lead them towards -- a big reward.

Reward?

Promotion.

Wait, did he just said that I had become trustable enough for this kind of projects.

Amazing. Finally he acknowledged my talent.

Wait again.

Do I have to fight with Shivam too, for promotion?

Yes. My brain answered me.
Though my heart said "no, don't fight with him, you like him!"

But I virtually hugged my brain and acknowledged it's answer.

I definitely needed a promotion. I definitely needed to make enough money so that I could continue my career in music.

After receiving the details of the project, I started working on it.

Two days later, Shivam came to me. He seemed to be in a light mood, but something didn't seem right to me.

I meant, something about his intentions.

"What are you doing? " He asked.

"Nothing. Just the project. " I replied.

"Do you need any help? "

"Umm no! I guess I'm doing fine. " I was sure it was fine.

He took a glance at the computer screen and turned to leave.

"Oh. Yes. Are you free this evening? Just asking for some coffee!" He asked.

"Yeah, sure" I nodded and smiled at him. Without any weird reaction, he left my cubicle.

But something seemed strange to me. I didn't know why.
