Shreya felt an unusual tension when Shivam didn't receive any of her calls.
She tried calling him numerous times, but he just didn't pick up. She became anxious.
Maybe I should give him some time.
If I would have been in his position, I might have done the same.
She came back home and stopped in front of the main door. It was locked. Sangeeta hadn't come back yet.
Normally, Sangeeta was the one to reach earlier than Shreya. But today, she didn't came back.
Maybe busy with her work or had gone somewhere.Shreya jerked her bag off her shoulder and sat down the sofa. She needed to wash herself but she felt a strange exhaustion in her body.
Geez, I needed to talk to Sangeeta. Where is she?
She tried calling Sangeeta. After a full ring, she picked it up.
"Hello? You're home?", Sangeeta asked.
"Umm yes, where are you?", Shreya replied.
"I'm coming. I met Mitali and went to have some coffee with her. What happened?"
"Don't even ask. I messed it up" Shreya whined. "He didn't take it. I almost destroyed his chance of getting the promotion. What can I do now Sangeeta? He doesn't pick up!" Shreya said in one single breath.
"Okay, okay. Calm down. You know his place, right? Just visit him if you're really anxious about him" Sangeeta suggested.
"Um. Okay.. than I'm leaving now ", Shreya took her bag again on her shoulder.
"Okay. Shreya did you eat? Make sure to have something to eat on the way"
Sangeeta told her."Yep I will. Bye"
_____________Shreya's P O V:
It took me 35 minutes to reach his apartment and get on the right floor.
But when I reached in front of his unit, I saw that the door was locked.
"He didn't come back home!", Words came out of my mouth unconsciously.
"No he did. I think he went to some club". I heard this voice right behind my head and I snapped back.
It was a lady in her late twenties wearing a red kurti.
"I live the next door", she spoke again. "When I was going downstairs an hour ago, I heard him talking in his phone to a certain person, about that club. Like, if it has opened or not today. ""He goes clubbing? ", I was in shock. He never told me that.
"No. Maybe he was a little stressed. Or maybe just for some drinks."
"Do you know the name of the club? Or where is it.. "
"Yes dear. I know Shivam really well too. We became neighbors three years ago. He goes to this club only. Wait, are you his girlfriend?" She asked.
"Um sort of", and I flattened my lips as I understood that what I had just said, didn't make any sense.
She chuckled a bit. "I understand. Alright. I'll tell you the address. But make sure he comes back home, okay?", She grinned at me and gave me the name and address of the club where I could find this boy.
Okay! Wait there Shivam! I'm coming!
As I reached the said address, my feet felt numb. The loud music from inside the club was vibrating the land beneath my feet too, though I was standing far away from the entrance. And moreover, I've never been to a club before but I heard somewhere that the guards would want to see my ID card to check my age.
