Shreya's P O V:
I wanted to do it. But he didn't let me.
I wanted to slap Shivam on his face but suddenly a hand rested on my shoulder.
Saurav.
"Shreya, you must have a back up right? We'll get that" , he assured me.
I was at a lack of words for two reasons.
Firstly, because I really didn't know how to react at that moment.
Secondly, I was amused to see Shivam's expression when Saurav spoke about the back up. It was different. His eyes widened for a second and one of the corner of his upper lip twitched, but then it was back to normal.
By normal, I meant the previous state.
A state of pure indifference.
I didn't know if he was acting it all up. But I really wanted to him to speak up and say that he was just joking when he told those things to me.
I wished he had been joking.
Saurav took me to the canteen. Before anything could go to the Boss, Sonam took care of everything.
"You stay here. I'll go to your place to bring your laptop. I'm not even associated with this project." , Saurav suggested.
I protested a few times but he didn't listen to me. He took the keys and walked out of the office.
_____________
Shreya had submitted her project to the boss. As the working hours came to an end, everyone was getting ready to head out.
But Shreya didn't want to leave this matter. She was sure that she was going to do something the next day.
Something dangerous.
She was not that kind of a person who would sit still after all that happened.
She returned home and went to take a shower.
Well, it was not difficult for Sangeeta to understand the mood. Besides, Saurav called her a while ago, to inform her about these events.
If he hadn't told her, still she could feel it by the dark aura she was carrying around her.
Silent Shreya is very rare.
And at this time, something was running in her head, good or bad.
Sangeeta needed to stop her before she would burst out like a volcano.
After getting washed, Shreya came back to the living. She took the cup of chocolate milk and started stirring the spoon very fast. Sangeeta couldn't restrain herself anymore.
"Shreya, I love listening to stories, you know? "
Shreya lifted her face and knitted her brows together.
"What?", She raised a perplexed question.
"I mean, you are going to tell me the whole story right now! From beginning to end, without leaving a single thing, alright?" , Sangeeta said.
Shreya sighed and gave that spoon a break to make some friendship with the chocolate milk. She gazed at Sangeeta for a little while and then, explained the whole story to her.
"Hmmm... So you think Shivam did this? ", Sangeeta asked.
"Who else!", She paused.
"And I wouldn't be doubting him if his reaction was not so weird and ... "
Sangeeta was still looking at her friend, eagerly waiting for her to continue.
And so she did.
"Maybe he loves to get on my nerves." , She looked at Sangeeta and pulled a smirk on her face.
"I'll end this."
Sangeeta widened her eyes.
"How so?"
"I don't know. He started this. So I have to end this." She coldly replied.
" Don't do anything that will hurt you. That's my ultimate advice to you!", Sangeeta told and heaved a sigh.
Shreya nodded.
----------------------
It was a new morning.
A ray of sunlight came through the gap between the curtains and landed on Shreya's face. She turned around and curled up in the bed a little more.
5 minutes more.
And she fell into deep sleep.
After 20 minutes more, when she woke up, it was 7:15 am. Shreya's brain was telling her to get up in order to be in time. But her eyes didn't listen to any of it.
She barely got sleep last night.
Because what happened yesterday, had extremely hurt her, if not killed inside.
She couldn't accept that treatment from Shivam.
Was she all wrong about Shivam's feelings?
Did she misinterpret?
Did he really steal it?
She couldn't think more and just got out of the bed to get washed.

Shreya's P O V:
I entered the office and immediately went to Saurav's cubicle.
He looked up at me with a surprise.
"What's up?", He asked.
I smiled.
"Looks like I'm the first person in the office who got to see your beautiful face this morning.. " saying that he leaned closer to me, "gotta say something?", He asked.
I probably had a expressionless face. "Um.. yes! ", I replied.
"So, tell me.. what's it?"
I explained him whatever was on my mind.
He jumped a bit and immediately raised his hands in the air.
"No. Absolutely no. You're not doing this. "
"No Saurav.. I have to", I insisted.
"No you don't have to do this. At least, you don't have to hurt your own career. No, I'm not helping you! "
"Please, Saurav! It's only you! No one else can help me, please Saurav. There's no other way to do this", I pleaded to him.
"Wait! This is wrong. Listen.... "
After a lot of attempts, Saurav agreed to it. I had to promise him that I would not overdo it or make any scene. I had to lie a bit to him about my intentions.
"But, are you sure about it? Because, after this, he will never talk to you. I mean you're okay with that, right? And moreover it can affect his whole career. "
I thought for some minutes. Maybe he was right, but what that jerk did was wrong too. He didn't consider anything about me.
I must not feel guilty.
It's fair.
