When Sangeeta came home that night, Shreya was already asleep. Sangeeta didn't wake her up.

She went to bed after texting Saurav that she had reached home safely.

The next morning, as an usual routine, they got out of their flat and  headed towards the lift.

Shreya found a known face in the corridor.
"Hi! Good morning! ", Payel said.

"Good morning", Shreya greeted back and turned to Sangeeta to say, "she has shifted to the flat next to us. Actually she has joined my company too. "

Sangeeta nodded at Payel. She could notice Shreya's cold eyes while talking about her.

Near the gate of the building, when Payel was far from both of the girls, Sangeeta asked Shreya-
"How does she know you?"

"Shivam told her."

"She knows him? Oh!", Sangeeta asked.

"Yep! She's his ex girlfriend", Shreya said coldly.

Sangeeta paused for a moment and then said, "I see! "
Sangeeta understood the situation and didn't want to talk about it anymore.

"Take care!", She told Shreya before getting on her cab.

Shreya's and Sangeeta's offices were at opposite directions. So Shreya took another cab to reach her workplace.

At the entrance of Shreya's office building, she saw Shivam standing as if he had been waiting for someone.

As he saw Shreya, he came forward.
"Morning Miss Bhaduri."

"Morning! Are you waiting for anyone? ", Shreya asked.

"Yep! You!" , He chuckled.

"Seriously?", Shreya laughed at him.

"Why? Is there a problem?" He asked with a grin.

"Umm, no. But I think there is someone you should wait for".

Shreya paused for a moment and then continued, "I met Payel yesterday. She is new here. You should help her a lot too so that she doesn't get scolded by our strict boss... "

Shivam laughed. "Well, I can't really help her because she isn't in my department. I can help you by the way."

Shreya narrowed her eyes at him playfully. "Anyways, she is a sweet girl."

"Yes very sweet!" , Shivam replied with a weird smile. 
They entered the lift together and went to the 11th floor of the building.

"Oh. I forgot to tell you. Sir has said that we would have to go to meet some client today. At around 12 noon"

"We? You and me?" , Shreya asked with wide eyes.

"Yes Newbie", Shivam smirked. " You have many things to learn yet "

A notification popped up on Sangeeta's phone screen. Saurav.

>>[Hey! Up for a movie?]

Sangeeta loved watching movies. She immediately said yes to him. She wanted to take Shreya too. So she called her.

"Listen, me and Saurav are planning to go on a movie this evening. So are you coming with us? I don't want to leave you alone this time!", Sangeeta told her having an expectation that she would come.

"Why on Earth should I join you guys on your movie date? What's wrong!! ", Shreya let out a humourous chuckle.

"What date! Come on Shreya! It's not a date" , Sangeeta almost screamed.

"It is, dear! And moreover, I can't come. I am going to meet some client with Shivam today. So... "
Sangeeta cut her in the middle.. "with whom you said? Ah.. have a great time ahead.. bye bye!"

Shreya's cheeks were burnt into pink. "What the hell! Ugh! Bye!" , She hung up the phone.

On their way back from meeting the client, Shreya and Shivam had their lunch and now they were on a his car.

After some time, Shivam succeeded in initiating a conversation.

"So, do you like road trips?", He asked.

"Not always. If I'm with my favorite people then obviously yes."

"I see! And who are your favorite people?" , He asked again.

"My family, my friends, my cousins..."

"And? ", Shivam was curious.

"And ... Sangeeta... There are many more. You don't know them" , she teased him.

"Oh! Okay! Good", he looked disappointed.

"What's with that look? Which name were you expecting?", Shreya laughed.

"Nah, nothing", he stated.

"Tell me!", She insisted. "Your name?"

Shivam's cheeks became red. "N-No!"

Shreya laughed at his reply. "Really! You can tell me if you want. I won't mind."

Shivam looked outside the window. Evidently, he blushed. Well, these things were gradually becoming comfortable for him.
