I think my mornings were great lately. I can't help but feel energized and excited, always looking forward to something. While preparing Spade's mushroom toast breakfast, I'm even humming random songs. Natigil lang nung lumabas si Spade. Napalunok na lang ako at tinapos ang paggawa ng kape niya.

I flipped through my notebook and thought of the dinner I'll be making for Spade. Meanwhile, he's holding up the toast while reading emails on his device. When he didn't say anything further, I went to the kitchen to prepare the food I'll bring for my picnic with Madison. Napalingon ako sa labas. Maganda ang panahon ngayon. This is really exciting! The last time I had a picnic with her was one time in college at the hospital's eco-park. It was nice and relaxing.

I was scanning the recipes in my notebook when I felt the urge to look at Spade. My eyes widened when I saw him looking at me but he quickly dropped his gaze back to his emails. He was probably just thinking.

"Where are you going?" He asked, still busy with his emails.

I looked at him to make sure I'm the one he was asking. He put down his phone and took a bite from his toast.

"We're going to have a picnic down south." I smiled, thinking of a cloudless sky above us.

I put on my moon apron and started to prepare for our picnic later. The toasts I make for Spade. I'm sure Madison will love it. I was just in the middle of cooking when Spade put on his suit jacket. He checked the collars and his sleeves for creases and set them with adjusting his tie. I don't know but that's making me space out. He looks so neat and pristine.

Napatigil ako sa ginagawa ko nang lumapit siya sa counter.

"Where are the muffins?" He scanned the kitchen island.

"Oh, I put it in the fridge. Do you want some? I'll heat it up for you."

He didn't answer. He went straight to the fridge and got the whole container. "I'll take this."

"Don't you want to heat them up?"

He didn't respond and grabbed his leather bag. I just shrugged and continued my duty. Nakahinga naman ako nang maluwag nang marinig ko ang pagsara ng pintuan. He's out. I can sing and dance in front of the pan without feeling as if I'm about to be eaten alive.

After all the preparations I made, I placed it in insulated containers and thankfully have a picnic basket here. I quickly went to the bathroom and took a shower. I wore an A-line dress jumper and a striped shirt underneath. This outfit is too cute!

Madison came to pick me up. And we even got matching outfits! She's wearing a red corduroy jumper dress and a white raglan sleeved shirt. Trust me, we didn't plan the outfit.

"Oh my goodness, Diana!" She hugged me too tight which made me chuckle. "I missed you so so much. I can't believe I haven't seen you in a while!"

I giggled. "Gaja, gaja."

--

"Oh my goodness, this place actually exists?" I breathed out as I went out.

Nilatag niya yung picnic blanket na dala niya and we sat under the shade of some tree. The sky is blue and the wind brushing our skin felt like a polar bear's breath.

"Ooh..." Madison snooped at my basket. "What do you got from there? Toasts? Oh my god, these look delectable!"

She also brought her own basket. We prepared a lot! This is going to be so much fun.

"How are you, Diana?" It's the first thing she asked before munching.

"Wala." I shrugged. "Just the same."
