EVERYBODY WANTS A HAPPY ENDING, RIGHT? But it doesn't always roll that way. Maybe this time. I'm hoping if you play this back, it's in celebration. I hope families are reunited, I hope we get it back, and something like a normal version of the planet has been restored. If there ever was such a thing. God, what a world. Universe, now, if you told me ten years ago that we weren't alone, let alone, you know, to this extent, I mean, I wouldn't have been surprised. But come on, you know? The epic forces of darkness and light that have come into play. And, for better or worse, that's the reality Morgan's gonna have to find a way to grow up in.
So I thought I'd probably better record a little greeting... In the case of an untimely death on my part. I mean, not that, death at any time isn't untimely. This time travel thing that we're gonna try and pull off tomorrow, it's — it's got me scratching my head about the survivability of it all. That's the thing. Then again, that's the hero gig. Part of the journey is the end.
...What am I even trippin' for? Everything's gonna work out exactly the way it's supposed to.
I love you 3,000.

The days following the battle went by quickly for Diana. She returned to Themyscira, where she told her mother and sisters about what had happened and her relationship with T'Challa. Then, she traveled to Elyon with Steve and Raevanna, going in support for when Raevanna told her family about the baby. When she returned from Elyon, she went to Boston to meet with Julia and Vanessa, who had been restored after the snap and were overjoyed to see Diana alive. Finally, she dropped by Wakanda to check in on the people, and to help rebuild the parts of the city that had been damaged in the battle.
The Wakandans held a huge party a week and a half after the battle, celebrating the win and the restoration of the great city. Diana hadn't wanted to stay at first, but Shuri had insisted, saying that she was "an honorary Wakandan" and that she had every right to participate. Then, she had told Diana that T'Challa had a surprise for her, and that it couldn't wait until after she returned from settling all her affairs in America.
So now, Diana stood on the balcony of the palace, looking up at the fireworks that exploded across the sky. She had spent most of the day in the city, interacting and talking with the people. Many of those she talked to had thanked her profusely for all she had done for them, while the others (the children, mostly) asked her if she would permanently be staying in Wakanda. Diana gave them honest answers each time: that it wasn't just her that had saved the country, and that she had every intention to stay for good.
"Are you alright?" came a voice from behind her.
Diana turned around, smiling when she saw T'Challa standing in the doorway. "Yes, I'm alright," she said. "Just thinking."
