Xiao Zhan hadn't asked Wang Yibo about moving in entirely but Wang Yibo didn't question him when he turned up for breakfast the next day.
'Um... I'm sorry to ask' Xiao Zhan said as he followed Wan Yibo into the living room. 'But are you free this lunch?'
'Let me guess you're going to take me to a normal restaurant?' Wang Yibo pursed his lips.
'How did you know?' Xiao Zhan was genuinely curious. Wang Yibo seemed to know a lot more about things than he was expected too.
'Observation.' Wang Yibo glanced at Xiao Zhan. 'A skill everyone should have.'
'I'm plenty observant.' Xiao Zhan argued.
'Yeah definitely.' Wang Yibo smiled. 'Like you definitely didn't trip over that exact same chair in the kitchen three times in a row.'
'Hey! That was just a momentary lapse of attention.' Xiao Zhan said, 'I was busy helping you arrange meetings.'
'Oh really?' Wang Yibo questioned. 'Was it not you who nearly stepped on our neighbor's cat, Mr Puffkins? Was it not you who've walked past the door to your own room nearly 5 times in the span of a week?'
'Your house is big.' Xiao Zhan defended himself, Wang Yibo raised his eyebrows and Zhan sighed. 'Fine ok. I'm not that aware of my surroundings. There I've admitted it. Happy?'
'Moderately so.' Wang Yibo chuckled.
'Ok but will you go have a normal lunch with me?' Xiao Zhan asked. 'I'll pay too because I used your money last time.'
'But I'm your employer.' Wang Yibo asserted. 'Wouldn't it be wrong of me to make you pay?'
Xiao Zhan stuck out his bottom lip and crossed his arms in dissatisfaction but glanced over at Wang Yibo and sighed, long and hard. 'Fine you pay.' Xiao Zhan was desperate.

They had another quarrel in terms of getting to the actual restaurant and Zhan was proud to say that he finally won against Wang Yibo.
Wang Yibo rolled his eyes as they stepped into the old car. His nose noticeably twitched and Xiao Zhan understood as soon as the sickeningly sweet scent of air freshener entered his lungs.
Xiao Zhan gave the taxi-driver the address and then they were off on an extremely rocky journey.
Wang Yibo didn't talk for the entire ride and Xiao Zhan was glad. Not because he was tired of the teasing - he rather missed it actually - but because he couldn't bear to open his mouth once more. The strange toxic yet sweet smell of air freshener was so strong, he could taste it as soon as he opened his mouth.

'I' Wang Yibo declared as soon as the car sped off and away from them, 'am never taking a taxi ever again.'
'We were just unlucky.' Xiao Zhan replied immediately.
'Unlucky?' Wang Yibo raised his eyebrows and looked straight at Xiao Zhan. 'The seats were torn, the car smelt rancid, the driver was horrible - I wouldn't be surprised if I found out he was blind - and worst of all, I can't believe you wasted your money on that!'
'You're... what?... a billionaire?' Xiao Zhan deadpanned, 'Why are you out of all people worried about money?'
'I'm not worried about my money.' Yibo disputed, 'I'm worried about yours, weren't you complaining about rent the other day?'
'Oh...' Xiao Zhan didn't answer, he couldn't remember specifically complaining about it to Yibo but the statement had reminded him of something. He had never told his employer that he was moving in permanently and suddenly he felt, strangely, guilty. 'Um sir?'
Wang Yibo sighed, 'What did I say about calling me sir?'
'Only do it in public?' Xiao Zhan answered, 'we are in public?'
Wang Yibo rolled his eyes, 'It's a private conversation, call me Yibo.'
'Ok.' Xiao Zhan agreed, still anxious, 'I was planning on asking you if I could move in permanently?'
'Depending on how lunch goes,' Wang Yibo offered him a reassuring smile though nothing he said was reassuring at all. If anything it only made Xiao Zhan worry more. 'Right, we've been standing on his footpath for nearly ten minutes, where's this restaurant?'
'Right, sorry' Xiao Zhan grinned apologetically,'Follow me.'

He initially planned on taking Wang Yibo to a restaurant owned by Yubin's cousin but the entire place had been booked for a birthday party so he opted for his second favourite restaurant. It was a street restaurant which Xiao Zhan admitted was a bit much for his boss's first time eating at a 'normal restaurant' but he felt it shouldn't be too bad.
'This place looks worse than the taxi.' A voice rang out from next to him.
'Yeah well,' Xiao Zhan smiled, it was his turn to educate, 'don't judge a book by it's cover. Live a little, forget routine, plans and rules for just a while. You might be surprised.'
'So you're saying the food is good don't look at the restaurant... in a very complicated and cheesy manner.' Wang Yibo asked inexpressibly.
'You say stuff like this all the time.' Xiao Zhan countered as he led Wang Yibo into the shabby restaurant.
'Uh huh. Except I can and you can't.' Wang Yibo replied as squinting at the cheap metal tables and plastic chairs that littered across the shop.
'Why not?' Xiao Zhan asked.
'You just can't' Wang Yibo answered.
Xiao Zhan chuckled. 'Whatever you say sir.'
