I got up from my bed already feeling like shit as I ran into the toilet to puke my guts out
Jeez I wonder the amount of alcohol I took into my system last night. My head hurts like hell and I'm so hungry
I walked into the kitchen and I found Sophie making pancakes
"Hi" she said in her cherry voice glancing my way for only five second before turning back to face what she was doing
"Ugghh why does my head hurt like hell" I groaned holding my head as I walked to the fridge to grab a bottle of water
She snorted and said "well maybe it's because you drank about eight glasses of alcohol and danced like you've never been to a party before"
"Oh my god please tell me I didn't do anything stupid last night because I can barely remember anything" I said hoping she would say something like "nah you just kept saying all sort if rubbish" but I guess I hopped for too much because her reply left me shocked
She laughed so hard I just wanted to hit her head with something real hard
"Well honey you did a lot of stuff last night" she said and laughed again
"Will you just cut it out and tell me what I fucking did" I said sounding impatient
"Okay" she took a deep breath and continued "when the song dance monkey started playing you completely got out of control and just grabbed a random guy and started making out with him". She side and continued to laugh hard
" oh no no no what have I done now" I groaned and covered my face with my hands as my cheeks were now as red as a tomato. I know Sophie will rub this in my face for a whole year
Desperate to change the subject I quickly asked her about what she discussed with Alex
"Umm nothing much" she said as she handed me a plate of pancake and started digging into hers
I raised my eyebrow skeptically at her and said "you're joking right because you guys talked for a pretty long time and you were both laughing like couples so spill the bean now"
She blushed and sighed deeply before speaking "okay fine. He asked for my number and said he wants to meet up today"
I swallowed the lump in my throat and managed to find my voice "so what'd you say"
"Umm hello" she said and waved her hands in the air "only a dumb bitch who has no brain would say no to Alex. Even a woman of thirty wouldn't be able to resist his charm" she said in a dreamy tone
Okay yea I'm not gonna lie I'm jealous. I mean common..I've loved this guy for so long why couldn't I just get him
I know my best friend is a real beauty but jeez why didn't he go for other models..you know what I'm just gonna try and be cool about it I mean nobody said he's gonna ask her to be his girlfriend right
Maybe he just wants to get to know her or something maybe he just wants to be friends with her, who knows I shouldn't just jump into conclusion yet
"Earth to Amanda" she said and snapped her fingers in front of me "where have u been"
"Oh umm sorry I just got lost in my thoughts did u say something"
"Yea I said I'm a bit nervous about the date. I just want it to be perfect" she said sounding a bit desperate
"Don't worry about it I'm sure he's already head over heels in love with you" I said trying hard to hide how hurt and jealous I am right now
I know I might seem like a bad friend but if you were in my shoes you'd feel jealous as well
But don't worry I'm not gonna ruin my best friends happiness just because of my stupid crush
"You think so" she said after thinking a bit about what I said
"Yea" I said with a slight nod of my head

"Umm do you think this is okay" sophie asked showing me a black turtle neck long sleeve gown
"I don't know you said you wanted something classy for your first date right. This is kinda casual" I said with disapproving look on my face
"Oh right" she said and dropped the gown on the bed with a little pout and a sigh but all of a sudden her face lit up again "I think I have the perfect one" she said as she ran into her closet
We're currently at her house picking out the clothes for her date and I'm so exhausted I just wanna sleep but I've gotta help my Bestie right
She finally came out wearing a black short leather gown and I'm not gonna lie she looks good in it. Who am kidding she literally looks good in everything she wears
"So what do you think" she asked as she spun giving me complete view of the dress
"Wow you look so pretty this is definitely the one" I said still looking at her in awe
"Yea I know right" she giggled and I just laughed at her and shook my head . I love my best friend

After applying her make up and every other necessary thing she was finally ready to go out
She dropped me off at my house and pecked me on the cheeks before she ran out and drove to the venue
I sat down for a while just watching random videos on my laptop until I got hungry and I decided to order pizza
After a while I got really tired and I just slept off
