chapter 14 ♥

"So you're saying you guys didn't have sex" sophie pushed further

"No we didn't" I told her

"Not even a little kiss or something" she whined

"Nothing happened sophie. Hey why don't you tell me about your movie with alex" I tried changing the subject

She pointed her finger at me "no you won't change the subject this time Mandy"

I let out a bored sigh "I really do not know what you wanna know. I told you the truth, nothing happened and besides you just don't expect me to jump on a guy I've seen just twice"

She huffed and went to the living room with her hands on her waist

"I really don't see why you want me to get laid so bad" I followed her into the living room

She turned to look at me "well it's because you've never had sex before Mandy. You're not in highschool anymore, you're done with college"

"Look sophie I'm just waiting for the right guy to come" I spoke as i sat down on the couch

"David seems like the right guy Mandy, he's decent, handsome and he looks like he has a goal. I think you should settle down with him" she looked at me with pleading eyes

I just shrugged and said "well I'm still getting to know him"

She sighed and sat down next to me "why don't we go to the movies, I'll invite alex and you can invite david"

"I don't know sop-"

"It's not up for discussion. I'll call alex and you go call David" she said sternly and I couldn't help but obey

"Fine" I stood up lazily from the couch and walked inside the kitchen to grab my phone

I dialed David's number and after the second ring he picked

"Hi" I spoke

"Hey Mandy how are you"

"I'm okay and you"

"I'm all good. Do you need something"

i bit my bottom lip before answering "Umm kinda..actually I was wondering if you're free right now"

"Yeah. Is there a problem"

"Not really..I just wanted to ask if you can accompany me to see a movie" I managed to say without stuttering

"Yeah sure that'd be really great, what time is it"

I looked in Sophie's direction to signal her and ask her what time we were gonna see the movie, as she really didn't tell me

And not so surprisingly she was looking my way probably straining her ears to listen to our conversation

I mouthed the word time of the movie to her and she instantly mouthed four pm back to me. I nodded and replied david

"Umm 4pm"

"Okay cool.." he replied and I could practically hear the smile in his voice

"One more thing" I quickly piped up "it's not just me. My best friend and her boyfriend will be there as well, hope you don't mind"

"Of course not. I'll come pick you up by 4."

"Okay then bye" I said and hung up

"So is he going" sophie asked looking at me with her big round eyes

"Yeah, he's coming to pick me up by 4" I walked pass her to sit down

"Coming to pick you up. I better call alex and tell him not to come with his car so that the four of us can use David's car" she typed some buttons on her phone and soon she was on the phone with alex
