The rays of sun peaking through the curtains woke me up and I can't even begin to explain how badly my head hurts. I looked around to see that I was definitely not in my room. The picture frame of me and Sophie that sat on the table made me feel at ease as It sank in that sophie must have brought me to her house last night.

My stomach churned and I knew what was to come next so I quickly ran to the toilet to puke my guts out, sophie would kill me if I threw up on her bed. Damn, my vomit smells like dead fish and rotten egg. How much did I drink last night.

I stood up and brushed my teeth with the extra pair of toothbrush that sophie has. I looked down at my body to see that I wasn't in that skimpy outfit but was now in a big blue shirt that reached mid thigh. Sophie must have changed me, what will I do without her.

I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen to see Sophie eating some pancakes. She's dressed in a light pink body fitted gown that has a slit at the corner, which definitely means she's going out.

"Hey, you're finally awake" she passed me a plate of pancakes and went to open a drawer before bringing out some painkillers to reduce the pounding in my head, because right now it feels like hundreds of people are continuously banging my head with a hammer.

I quickly took the pills and flashed an appreciative smile her way which she returned gracefully. "Hope I didn't cause much havoc last night." I dug into my pancakes and closed my eyes, taking in the awesome taste.

She let out a snort before answering "yeah you said some really crazy shit, and then you were with this bunch of awkward drunk people. I was so glad I found you, it took a lot of effort though" she brought her glass which was containing orange juice to her lips and sipped a little.

I started getting scared when she mentioned that I said some crazy shit. I can vaguely remember meeting this super weird guy and he bought me drink, I don't really remember much from then but I think I met his drunk friends and I started spilling some shit.

Oh no.

What if I said something I shouldn't have said to sophie, like about alex and I.

I don't think I said anything, I mean she wouldn't be so calm if I indeed told her anything about Alex and I. I managed to gather the courage and asked her if she remembered anything I said last night, trying my best to sound casual and not bothered

She tapped her chin as if trying to remember something. "Honestly, I don't think I remember. But I also don't think I've seen you that drunk" she commented as she hopped off the barstool and made her way to the kitchen sink to put away her dish.

I internally signed in relief. "By the way why are you dressed like you're going somewhere"

"Because apparently I am going somewhere. My parents asked me to accompany them to have lunch with some business partner, how the hell does that even affect me. Why can't they just go without me, because I'm pretty sure my presence won't be needed as all they would be talking about is business" she complained and its so obvious that she doesn't wanna go.

I couldn't help but laugh as she muttered series of curses under her breath.

Her phone dinged, indicating that someone just texted her. After replying to the message she looked at me with pleading eyes. "I have to go now Mandy, I'm so sorry to leave you like this. Apparently a few things has been changed and I have to leave now. I'll call alex and tell him to drop you off at home, he's not far from here. Freshen up and put on my clothes, here's the spare key" she took out a single piece of key and handed it to me. "You can keep it with you"
