chapter 15 ♥

After adding a few things to our looks, me and sophie went downstairs to wait for the guys to get here

"Ugghh why is it taking forever for them to get here" sophie groaned impatiently

"Calm down soph I'm pretty sure they're on their way and besides we still have about 40 minutes before the movie starts" I tried assuring her

Honestly, deep down I prayed that alex and david would never arrive so we can just cancel and sleep for the rest of the day

Yeah I know that sounds really evil but hey I prefer to sit at home all day than go out and see different type of people that I have no idea who they are or where they come from

I love being in the comfort of my home. I love laying on my bed all day long with my duvet wrapped around me.

As stupid as this may sound my house is my best friend and i actually think it's the only thing that really understands me, apart from sophie of course.

But even if the guys decided to ditch us today, typical Sophie might still say we should go without them

I was brought out of my train of thought when I heard the doorbell

"That should be alex, he texted me five minutes ago that he was close. I'll go get it" she ran to the front door looking excited.

Wow, this girl really is in love with alex, I just hope he doesn't break her heart and I also hope I won't be the cause

I sighed and went to the front door as well. I just hope things doesn't get really awkward

"Hi babe" sohphie said and kissed alex in the lips

"Hey" he said as he broke the kiss

His eyes landed on me and they slowly roamed around my little curves and boobs. His eyes lingered on my lips for a moment before he finally looked directly at me

I couldn't help how my heartbeat accelerated with just his eyes on my body. God what is this guy doing to me

I gave a little smile and waved slightly at him "hi alex"

"Hey beautiful. How are you" he winked seductively at me and my breath hitched in my throat

What the hell is wrong with him, sophie is right here what if she suspects something. I bit hard on my bottom lip and tried my best to act at least normal

Unlike what I was expecting, sophie just laughed and swatted his arm playfully "don't worry Mandy, alex is just a real flirt"

I laughed as well trying my best to hide my nervousness

We walked back to the living room and sat down on the couch

"Umm who are we waiting for" alex spoke up looking around

"Amanda's boyfriend" Sophie blurted out even before I could respond

Alex furrowed his eyebrow in confusion "Amanda has a boyfriend"

"Hell yeah and he's so hot. But not hotter than you baby" sophie winked at alex and they both laughed

"Okay I don't know what going on over...there" I waved my hands in their direction before I continued "but I don't have a boyfriend"

"Then who are we waiting for" alex questioned

"His name is david and he's just. my. friend." I gritted out the last three words as I gave sophie a death glare which she retuned by smirking

After what seemed like hours but in reality was just about ten minutes of listening to Sophie's moans and giggles, david finally arrived.

"Hey, what took you so long" I asked as I gave him a hug

"I'm so sorry, the traffic was hell" he said and broke our hug

We walked back to meet sophie and Alex and not so surprisingly there were still making out intensely

"I had to watch and listen to that for about ten minutes" I said pointing in their direction

"Wow" he laughed and I rolled my eyes

"Okay guys, make out session is over time to go to the movies" I spoke loudly and clapped my hands

They finally separated and I saw Sophie's cheeks turn red when she realized that she just gave I and David a front roll seat to watch her make out session with her boyfriend.

Although Alex remained unaffected about the fact that we just watched him make out with his girlfriend

"Took you long enough to get here dude" Alex muttered under his breath, but was loud enough for everyone to hear

"I'm so sorry..there was a really bad traffic" David said apologetically. I guess he's still trying to make a good impression

"Hey don't get so angry now alex. David I'm sorry he's just not the very patient type" Sophie smiled sweetly at david while alex just scoffed.

"Sure it's fine I get it" he said and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly

I glanced in Alex's direction and if looks could kill I'm pretty sure david would be dead by now because of the death glares alex was sending his way

As if he felt my eyes burning holes in his perfect body, he turned his attention to me and he just looked at me with a blank expression on his face before he quickly turned away from me as if he couldn't look at me

I swallowed the lump in my throat and I really don't know why, but that hurt so bad.

I mean he was literally checking me out a while ago and here he is giving me a blank expression. Shit I shouldn't even be having such thoughts

I looked in Sophie's direction and noticed that she's having a serious discussion with david and I felt relieved, knowing that she didn't see my brief exchange with alex

"Okay people let's go watch this movie shall we" sophie spoke up

I smiled lazily as I involuntarily followed. I really just wanna stay home

We all got in the car and I sat in the passenger's side while alex and sophie sat in the back seat, probably so that they could continue their stupid make out session.

Ugghh..why the fuck am I even jealous, I shouldn't be jealous. Okay take a deep breath Mandy, they're perfect together and you definitely do not have a huge crush on your best friends boyfriend, so take a deep breath and calm down.

I looked in the rear view mirror and saw sophie smiling at Alex and I'm not just saying this because I have a crush on him, but Alex doesn't show that he loves sophie as much as she does.

Maybe it's just my imagination or maybe he doesn't like showing it in public, I mean there are people like that right.

I looked at them one more time and I wished that I was the one in Sophie's place, smiling at everything he says and kissing him each time I want to.

I sighed and looked away, I guess what they say about life not been a bed of roses is true. Not everybody get what they want and I'm just part of those unlucky people.
