chapter 16 ♥

We arrived at the mall and went to get tickets to see the movie 'little'. I've heard about the movie and yeah it's quite interesting but I'd prefer to watch it while snuggled up in my bed

"Okay so since we still have about ten minutes before the movie starts, why don't we go get ice cream" Sophie piped up after we bought our tickets

"Yeah that'd would be nice. Amanda what do you think" david asked me

I just smiled slightly and nodded

We all walked to the ice cream store with alex and sophie holding hands and discussing.

I tried my best to focus on anything but the growing jealously in the pit of my stomach but it's not so easy

I even decided to hold David's hand to see if it'll lessen the feeling or maybe distract me a bit but hell nah, It was still the same

We reached the ice cream store and Alex, david and sophie ordered different cups of ice cream while I just ordered a small cone as I was not really in the mood to do anything

We sat down in an empty table of four as we devoured our ice creams. I sat next to david, while Sophie sat next to her boyfriend

We made small talk about the movie we were about to watch, well mostly David and sophie because I wasn't contributing nor paying attention to what they were saying and from what I noticed alex wasn't either.

I wonder why he's so down and quiet, he's been like that ever since david arrived and I've noticed how he looks at him, I'm pretty sure if he's given a chance he'd kill him in an heartbeat.

Maybe david did something to him, no it can't be they just met a few minutes ago. Maybe he just doesn't like him

"Hey..Mandy are you with us" sophie snapped her fingers in my direction and that was when I realized that I zoned out

"Oh yeah..did you say something" I asked looking dumbfounded

"Yeah..I just asked you a question, what were you thinking" she asked as she studied my face

"Nothing" I quickly replied as I bit my bottom lip a little too hard and I could've sworn I saw Alex looking at my lips with so much hunger in his beautiful eyes.

"Okay then just finish up with that quickly alright, the movie is starting very soon and I really wanna be at the front row" she rested her head in Alex's shoulder and snuggle into him and I simply nodded my head

I finished up with my ice cream and we walked out of the store and headed towards the movie theater

When we reached the door and was about walking in, I felt the urge to pee so I spoke up "guys could you please go in without me I really need to pee"

"Fine I'll keep a seat for you, just be fast because we have about two minutes before the movie starts" she said and walked inside

I looked around for a toilet for about five minutes before I finally found one with the help of some stranger

I made my way in, did my business and flushed the toilet before I came out and washed my hands.

After drying my hands with a tissue, I just stood in the front of the mirror with so much thoughts flowing through my mind that I didn't even know the exact one to focus on

I took a deep breath and was about leaving when someone barged inside and quickly locked the door, and that person was none other than Alex.

He checked the three stalls in the bathroom and I just stared at him, totally confused. He shouldn't even be in here right now
