Derick's POV

"If that's true, just let me go", she begged and I was about to object but then she turned her back at me, and I witnessed what I have done to her, I knew I have no right to stop her.

But how to let her go, if I can't live without her, 'Time I'll give you time', I thought.

I got in my car, and started the engine, drove away, away from my soulmate.

Avery's POV

I took 2 painkillers and one sleeping pill too, I lay on my bed and let the darkness consume me.

I woke up to the sudden pain in my leg, "fuck", I scream

"Your highness, are you alright? what's happening?", One of the girls assigned to me asked while the other 2 were looking at me intensively

"Yes... I'm sorry I still don't know which one is which", I confessed and they smiled, "may I get a pill and glass of water please?", I asked.

"Sure, my princess. I'm Mercedes by the way", she introduced herself passing me the glass of water and the pill, she was short, with long brown hair and brown eyes. "This one is Rose", she pointed to a redhead, so that will not be hard to remember, blue cristal eyes and medium-high, "and finally this one is Lucy", she pointed to a beautiful brunette with short hair and honey eyes.

"I will try to learn them", I promise, "please call me Avery".

They all look between themselves a bit uncomfortable, "we will feel more comfortable, calling you by your title, princess", they blurted almost in unison.

"I understand", I reply, "what time is it?".

"Is 12:00 pm", Lucy answered

"Wow, did I sleep that long?", I mumbled to myself

"Would you like me to prepare your bath right now or would you rather something to eat first?", Mercedes asked

"I will rather take a bath first", I replied, "but I can do that myself"

"No, no, no, your highness please that is our job", she commented as she started to remove the covers from me and nodded to Rose, and this one left to the bathroom to prepare it.

"Where is the King?", I asked

"He is at his office, with beta John and secretary Gina", Mercedes told me while helping me to stand.

"Ok, thanks", I replied. "By the way yesterday you brought this nightgown and undies to me, where you got them?", I asked because I have no idea what I'm going to wear today.

"The King, ordered to have everything you may need ready, so we bought basic things you may need if you want something different you can tell us and we can bring you the catalogs for you to choose new stuff", Mercedes spoke again.

I learned so far Mercedes is the talkative one of the three, Rose is extremely shy and Lucy is like the mix of both, a good combination.

45 min after I was clean and dress, and yes another open back dress, I guess they look for this style to help my wounds heal properly. At least I like the color, black.

There was a knock on the door, Rose went to answer the door, and when she immediately bowed her head I knew was Marcus.
