Derick's POV

I saw her walk with him to the car, they are going to go out of the palace, she smiling, looks happy with him, she is looking at him like she does with me, with love.

I know we agreed we wouldn't intervene with each other's plan to win her heart, but... I feel like I will lose her if I let her go with him right now.

I walked fast to them, Boudin started the engine already, I hurry to her window, and I saw the change of her expression from happiness to concern just by seeing my face, that hurts, she should always be happy to see me.

"Good afternoon", I told them, "my princess, as far as I know, you can't leave the palace without your proper security, I volunteer", I continue and Boudin growled at me.

"There's no need, alpha Bennett, the princess is perfectly safe, and we have the proper escort", Boudin responded clearly upset of my intrusion, "so if you excuse us", and made the car sound but I didn't move.

"Derick", Avery whispered like a plea for me not to make a scene, I took a deep breath and gulp to finally stepped away from the car, I took all my self-strength to stepped away from her.

I saw them drove away, I ran to the gym to wear down my anger with the punching bag, I'm not sure how many hours I spend there and the anger has not vanished at all.

I mind-linked my uncle to come to train with me, maybe that way I'll distract myself more.

Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my chest, like one of those hits my uncle used to throw at me to knock me out when I was younger and I was still training for my title, he was very tough with me back then.

Another hit, and another, was like been attack by my uncle, beta John, and my dad at the same time, blows with no mercy.

"She is with him", Eros noted panting, I hit the punching bag again with all my strength to the point that broke and the sand started to fall down to the floor, I howled in pain, my uncle rushed to me.

"Avery", I whispered and I started to bury my own claws in my skin.

"Derick stop!!", My uncle tried to contain me after that I lost my consciences, Eros was in charge and he feels the pain a thousand times worse than me.

"I will make it stop", Eros promise and everything when dark.

"No", I heard her voice and try to open my eyes immediately, "I did this", she admitted crying.

"Avery... Please don't...", Boudin tried to conform her but had no success

I slowly opened my eyes, she was standing in front of Boudin and turned to see me and him, "I'm so sorry", she whispered and ran out of the room.

I tried to sit but I noticed I was tied to the bed and I growled.

"Derick calm down and I will untie you", my uncle warned, "Noah leave, I'll notify you when the elders get here".

"I thought that you have honor, but I see you don't", Boudin stood in front of me, "I love her and I will fight for her", was his warning.

"She is mine", I growled at him.

"Not anymore", he smirked.

"Noah leave", my uncle roared and Boudin clenched his jaw.

"Your daughter is happy with me, Derick has only hurt her, why are you taking his side?", Boudin claimed my uncle.

"I'm not taking no one's side", my uncle replied with his alpha voice.
