"Maya, why are you not healing us? What's happening?", I asked my wolf
"I don't want to", was her flat reply
"But why?", I pushed for an answer
"He rejected us", she whispered
"What do you mean he rejected us, he hasn't, and even if he did, we cannot die because of it", I scolded her
"Don't be dramatic! We're not going to die", she scolded back
"Oh, ok. I'm dramatic. You are the one not healing us!!", I retored her
"He said you're not the Luna, in front of everybody", she sounded hurt
"That's not a rejection, but I hope helps you to understand that he is, what I thought he would be since the beginning", I told her trying hard not to be so rude, but I know I was.
"Please give me time", she begged and hide in the back of my mind
"Maya, Maya, stop this!!! Mayaaaaa!!", I yelled for her but was useless

Derick's POV
"Is been 5 days, Carmen called me asking why Avery has not contacted her, we need to tell her, she has the right to know, Derick please", Sky begged me
"ok, can you please take care of it?", I asked her because to be honest, I have no mind to deal with a mother in law right now, I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders, and is not going to change, until I see her opening her eyes again.
"Ok, I will. I will return later please let me know if anything changes", Sky asked and squeezed my hand before leaving.
Fernando got in and shook his head, "you smell like hell, please go as I ask you to, she will take her time to wake up, if anything happens I will notify you immediately", he promised with a sad smile
"Do I really smell bad?", I asked copying his sad demeanor.
"Yes, you do", he replied and I know he's right, I do smell, I have not take a proper shower since 5 days ago, "ok, please notify me of any changes immediately", he nodded and I kiss Avery's forehead before leaving.
I reached home and her scent is all over the place, making me doubt if I really needed that shower, regretting letting her alone at the hospital.
"Tessa, can you please go take care of Avery?", I mind-linked her
"I'm here already, Derick, don't worry", she replied
I smiled, "thanks".
I look for something to eat, 'a sandwich will do', I think
After I took a long shower, I am really tired but I need to go back.
