➣ but oh crap, it's Christmas Eve and you still got presents to get
➣ and one of the last peeps on your list is your dear bf, Crutchie!
➣ sadly, you didn't really know what to get Crutchie
➣ UNTIL you saw his knitting stuff (low key I love idea of Crutchie knitting clothes and the Newsies teasing him. sorry Crutchie!)
➣ so this leads up to now, where you're buying knitting supplies for Crutchie during a heavy snowfall
➣ and while Crutchie is at the Lodging House, he realizes the lack of odd laughter and weirdness, so he immediately thinks 'huh, my gf must be gone'
➣ then it hits him again
➣ 'SHES GONE?'
➣ and since you're a newsie in this, there's no great places you could be besides the Lodging House during the snowfall
➣ so he's panicking that you're probably out in the snow DYING or something
➣ poor Crutchie :,(
➣ so finally, you're done shopping and you're ready to go back home! FINALLY.
➣ but before you left, you made sure to pay someone to gift wrap the presents
➣ and then you're ready to go back!
➣ you walk upstairs with your gifts as you shiver from the cold.
➣ you shake a little as you leave your now cold and wet boots near your bed when BLAM
➣ you're engulfed in a one-handed hug from behind
➣ "Crutchie?"
➣ "Yeah!"
➣ "Um, you alright?"
➣ You turn around to face Crutchie, and he shakes his head 'no'
➣ I'm so sorry! I didn't think a snow storm would happen!"
➣ Crutchie gives a nervous laugh and gives another one-handed hug as he says "I'se just happy you'se okay."
➣ and you kinda sorta tear up because you made your pure and dearest boifriend sad :(
➣ he wipes off your eyes and smiles and says, "Didja buy anything for me?"
➣ you laugh and say "You can open them tomorrow!" as he pouts in reply
➣ as you and Crutchie are just smiling under the doorway, Albert and Racetrack walk over and snicker
➣ "Ay, Crutchie, look up." says Race
➣ Albert's laughing like a maniac. It's a very scary sight.
➣ you and Crutchie both look up and see the mistletoe above the doorway. ;-)
➣ Crutchie blushes and looks and you nervously
➣ you cup his face with a nervous smile and kiss him
➣ Albert and Racetrack cheer
➣ wow (y/n), you sure do take charge
➣ Crutchie kisses you back and it's so cute like ahhhhh
➣ then Jack walks over and laughs and says "get a room you two!"
➣ so now y'all are red
