It had been a month since Ele and I met, and we were super-close friends. Both of us were given a mission to go to the land of Grass to give the leader of that village a message from the Hokage. The Grass village wasn't too far from the leaf, so we didn't pack anything up. Once we had left, Ele accidentally talked about something fishy. A few moments later when we were kind of far from both villages, rogue shinobi started attacking us, but they were after me more than Ele.
Ele ran away, and they had caught me. They tied me to a tree and brought a knife near my neck.
Ele then popped up behind them and threw paper bombs and while they were about to explode, they manoeuvred away. The rogue ninjas then grabbed Ele and stabbed him on his chest. Suddenly, my eyes tingled, I blinked, and I could see their chakra points. My Sharingan awakened.
I saw Ele suffering, with blood trickling from his mouth. His eyes rolled up and he fell on the floor, dead. Thinking of that had happened to him, I made a shadow clone and it untied me, then I ran back to the leaf. It took me 20 minutes to get back. Once I'd arrived, I immediately reported the incident to Hokage Konohamaru. He said that Ele was training in the grounds outside the village. Shocked, I rank outside and saw Ele practicing his jutsus. I asked him about our mission, and he said that he didn't go anywhere all day. I let the incident go and moved on
