while I pull the trigger."

Their feat to find their friends had started in the dead of the night, with only the mood and their flashlights as their guides through the darkness. But now, after what Reyna guessed was a few hours, the sun had risen. The light had returned and their mission became just slightly easier. Or just less nerve-racking. At least in Reyna's opinion.

Even after spending quite some time on Earth, it still amazed her how everything came to life when the sun's rays shone down on it. The colors bloomed; the morning dew decorated the plants, making them glisten; everything was abuzz with a cacophony of sounds. But she supposed the darkness was worth of it as well. The night held a significant amount of beauty too, a different kind. She wouldn't be able to choose between them even with a gun to her head.

Sterlings footsteps from beside her shook her out of her daze and she was brought back to reality. Her missing friends. Her people.

"You know what I just don't get?" Reyna asked as they walked through the woods.

"What?" Sterling questioned.

"How could they just disappear. I mean there's no trace of them." She added in confusion, her eyes squinted as she looked up at him.

"I don't get it either." He sighed, lightly shaking his head. "But we have Murphy, he's been in their camp, he'll lead us there."

"Having Murphy is like having a rock, he's useless." Reyna scoffed and Sterling let out a small chuckle.

"I heard that." Murphy called out from the front turning his head back to glance Reyna, noticing her bothered expression.

"I don't care." Reyna rolled her eyes. She turned her head to look at Sterling, "I can't stand him." She whispered and Sterling laughed lightly.

"Could you two keep up?" Bellamy asked from the front, his voice full of irritation.

"Could you take the stick out of your ass?" Reyna raised her eyebrow with a smirk.

"Look Reyna, this is serious, our friends might die if we don't make it there in time." He looked at her with a worried expression and she stared at him for a second before nodding her head hesitantly.

"Okay." Reyna looked down, releasing a small breath before she noticed that the group had already started waking again. She was quick to move after them and follow their steps.

The group had been walking for a couple of hours now and following the directions Murphy gave them. It was already dawn and the morning sun shone through the trees. Reyna's eyes were squinted in attempt to block out the sun that was blinding her, but once they walked into the shade the trees provided she fully opened her eyes again. Then she looked to her side, where Bellamy was walking, his gun in his hands and his eyes focused on the path ahead. Her gaze trailed from him to the path in which they were walking as well.

"Alright Murphy, where to now?" Bellamy asked before he stopped walking which caused the others to stop too.

"I say we lose these first alright?" Murphy said referring to the makeshift handcuffs that were still bound around his wrists.
