A few hours had passed since Titus locked Clarke, Murphy and Reyna in the room. He hadn't returned ever since and the sun was set behind the hills while the moon slowly rose up in the sky.

Lexa's body was taken away while Reyna was sleeping. They had carefully pulled her lover form her arms trying not to wake her up. And even in her sleep, Reyna held Lexa tight, she'd started stirring when the body was not by her side.

And then she woke up. Alone in the bed. Clarke and Murphy were still in the room, but she didn't mutter a word to them.

She sat on one of the window seat, hugging her knees close to her chest and resting her chin on top of them. She looked exhausted, hair messy, bags under her eyes, color drained from her face.

She stretched her legs down and leaned with her back agains the wall. Her hands caught her attention. Black blood still coated them, not hers but Lexa's.

Her hands were tainted black and trembling as she quickly grabbed a rag and scrubbed over her them vigorously, not being able to get rid of it.

No. No. No.

She repeated the words under her breath like a mantra, hardly aware that she was even doing so in her despair as she desperately rubbed over her hands with the rag.

"Maybe it's all a dream."

"A very bad dream."

She closed her eyes shut as tight as she could and held her breath inside.

"Please don't be real."

She opened her eyes again but the black was still there, it was still on her hands, smeared on her fingers like a tint.

"No." Reyna whispered to herself just as Clarke approached her and took the rag to clean her hands instead of her.

"Reyna." Clarke called but Reyna didn't pay attention, "Reyna, please, look at me."

Reyna shook her head and closed her eyes again. Her heart thudded in her chest. Her hands became shaky and her feet tingled.

"This can't be happening." She whispered.

There was an agonizing pain in her chest, making it harder for her to breathe. It felt like her lungs were closing slowly leaving her breaths short and rapid, "She's not dead." She nodded to herself, "She can't be dead."

"She's gone, Reyna." Clarke softly told her trying to calm her down.

"No." Reyna raised her voice, "She's not."
