Reyna stood by the rover, her sword was in her hand as she sharpened it, "How much longer?" She asked Bellamy who was checking the rover's charger.
"Rover's almost charged. We need to pack up. We'll be home soon." He told her.
"And then what? Run away?" Clarke scoffed.
"No, Clarke." Reyna stepped forward with her sword in hand, "We get reinforcements and head to Polis."
"Okay, but how do we get inside Polis?" Octavia asked, "It's guarded by ALIE's soldiers on every corner, we'll never be able to sneak inside."
"That's a problem to worry about when we get there." Reyna shrugged as she sheathed her sword.
"I know that you don't want to do it Reyna-"
"Damn right, I don't." Reyna cut Bellamy off.
"But it's the only way to stop Alie." Clarke finished Bellamy's sentence, "If you don't do this than all of this was for nothing. We won't have a home to get back to."
"Even if I do this I won't have a home to get back to, you will." Reyna took a step towards him in a threatening way.
"We have to make sure our friends are okay." Bellamy added and Reyna rolled her eyes before she stormed away to cool off.
Reyna walked deeper into the woods and kicked the pebbles and branches with her feet.
She halted as soon as she heard a branch snap behind her. Reyna turned around swiftly, pulling out her sword out and facing the threat. It was a man, holding a gun in her direction.
But before he could shoot, she slid down beside him and cut his leg, making him fall down with a grunt. He was on his knees when Reyna brought her sword up and pierced it through his gut, cutting deeply in anger.
His death would be quick, too quick and Reyna felt pure rage flow through her. The voices in her head grew louder and all she wanted was for them to stop.
The man she stabbed was one of Alie's soldiers, there was no doubt in that. Reyna watched as he struggled to breathe as she pulled her sword out.
