Reyna groaned as she slowly opened her eyes, but all she saw was darkness. Her head hung low, her hands handcuffed tightly above her head to a chain. Her wrists felt like they were about to be cut off, cuts already forming with blood slowly starting to drip down her arms.
They had left her all alone after their last session of trying to get the information out of her failed. She was only in Arkadia for a few longer hours and her head was already pounding and her whole body screamed in pain from the torture she had endured.
She wondered what they did to Talia, who was captured by Pike's men as well just after Reyna. They separated the two of them, Reyna guessed they locked Talia up with the rest of the grounders and there was a even a small chance that they had already executed her, but Reyna didn't want to believe or even think about that.
She also couldn't believe that Bellamy did this to her. Followed Pike around like a lapdog and doing as he ordered without hesitation. Even when Pike ordered to start her interrogation Bellamy just nodded and began the torture with a shock baton.
Suddenly the door of the room she was in flew open and small light flooded the space. Reyna squinted her eyes attempting to defend herself from the light. When her eyes adjusted to the brightness she saw three figures entering the room and closing the door behind them.
She attempted to move but the handcuffs held her back. One of the figures flipped the light switch and everything became bright and clear.
Reyna focused on one of the men in the room, recognizing Pike and then she drifted her stare and noticed Bellamy as well. Her face held no other emotion but anger and hate towards the two of them. She tightened her fists so hard that her nails dug into the skin of her palms.
Pike smirked when she raised her head and started back defiantly, keeping her face blank just as the grounders taught her when she first started training with them.
"The all mighty Chancellor." Reyna spoke first with a bitter and mocking tone.
"The mighty Jusheda. Not so tough now are you?" Pike mocked, "You were pretty easy to contain from what I've heard."
He walked up to her slowly but Reyna didn't feel any fear when she looked at him. All she saw was a coward.
Pike nodded his head to the guard who immediately obeyed, stepping forward and pressing the shock baton into her stomach for a few seconds. Reyna clenched her jaw and inhaled deeply, not giving them the satisfaction of hearing her scream.
