Reyna never thought much about what death would feel like, or where she would go.

Maybe there was nothing after life.

She remembered the sword stabbing through her body. Falling down the cliff, Octavia waking her up. She remembered the pain. The escalating beat of her heart and then...

Then it was all black and she was here. In a field, covered in luscious tall green grass and lavender plants everywhere.

The dirt felt cool beneath her bare feet. The sky had never seemed more blue, the sun never felt warmer. The meadow turned into an ocean of purple waves as the gentle wind blew and slightly tickled her skin. It all felt so surreal...

She couldn't explain what she was experiencing or feeling. She thought she knew happiness before, but those small moments couldn't compare to the magnitude of this.

The exact same second Clarke didn't feel Reyna's pulse she laced her trembling hands together and placed them against Reyna's sternum.

"Come on, Rey." She begged under her breath, in hopes of waking the girl up. Her hands pressed against Reyna's chest, trying to start her heart again, "You have to breathe."

"Clarke." Octavia raised her head, anxiety racing through her body when she heard the quiet whimpers coming from the blonde girl, "What's wrong?"

The air in the room became filled with concern. Everyone knew what had happened, they just couldn't get any words out. All they could do was stare at the desperate Clarke trying to restart Reyna heart.

Clarke just shook her head, getting back to her task as Harper took Reyna's bloody hand and held it in hers, "Come on."

Octavia sat up, wincing in pain as she did. Clarke was blocking Reyna from her view so she tilted her head and noticed her doing compressions on Reyna's chest, "No." Her voice broke as her heart sunk down to her stomach. Her eyes were glistening with tears that she could't control, the pain in her stomach felt like nothing to the one in her heart when she saw Reyna laying lifelessly on the table.

"Get me a vial and a syringe!" Clarke shouted to Harper who instantly obeyed. It took her less then a minute to find the stuff Clarke asked for and bring it to her.

"I got it." She handed it back to Clarke who nodded as she spared her a glance that lasted only a second.

Clarke's held the vial in one of her hands, the syringe in the other. Her hands shook but she took a few deep breaths to compose herself, "I'll give her this and you continue with the compressions." She hurried out as she filled the syringe with the liquid from the vial.
