"you sure you won't need a ride home?" he asked on the other end of the line.
you smiled. he was so caring, "yes cal, i'm sure. alex can just drive me home if i need him too."
"okay. but if anything goes wrong, just call me. no matter how late. alright?" he asked.
"okay calum." you smiled, hanging up the phone afterwords.
"who was that?" your boyfriend walked into the room, carrying two beers. you were only 17, and alex was 21. calum didn't like the idea of you two being four years apart, but you said it was fine. there was nothing to worry about.
"just a friend checking on me." you smiled, taking a beer out of his hand. you knew you weren't going to drink it, so you set it on the coffee table. luke would kill you if he found out you had been drinking underage.
"what friend?" alex still persisted, cracking open his beer with his bare hands.
"calum. he was just wondering where i was since i didn't check in with any of them before leaving." you said, leaning up against his shoulder.
"he's a little bit too friendly with you." alex said, putting the cold beer up to his cracked lips.
"he's just a good friend. it's nothing more than that. i promise." you laid a kiss on his cheek, letting him know you were serious.
"i was thinking about something." alex turned his head to look down at you.
"about what?"
"you moving here with me when you turn 18." alex smiled, kissing your lips. you could taste the beer on his skin.
"deal." you said, smiling into his lips, before kissing again.
later that night, you made your way to the bedroom. you weren't planning on sleeping over, but it got too late to go home.
"you can sleep in this." alex said, throwing one of his large hoodies at you. you slipped it on when alex left, and slipped into bed.
alex came back with another beer opened, with it up against his lips. he didn't have a shirt on, but he had pajama pants on.
you had never slept over, so you didn't know what it would be like. if he would try and make a move, or if he would just 'cuddle'. you had made it clear to him that you didn't want to do anything until you were married. he said he respected that. but tonight, he was drunk, and was out of his mind.
he slipped into bed, and placed the open beer on the nightstand. you laid your head on the pillow next to him, and he laid down, turning his body to look at you.
"you look sexy in my hoodies." he smirked.
you smiled, "thanks." you closed your eyes, hoping he would leave it alone, and go to bed. you were tired.
he placed his hand on your upper thigh, close to your butt. "you sure you want to wait?"
you opened your eyes, and saw him smirking at you, "alex, you know i don't want to do it yet. i promise you can have it when you get the balls to ask me to marry you."
"you know i don't have the money." he grabbed the beer on the nightstand and took a long sip.
"then you don't get anything until then." you said, trying to make him get the hint. that you just wanted to go to bed.
you turned on your other side, facing the wall, your back facing alex. "babe, don't be like that."
alex grabbed your butt, which made you squeal, and swat his hand away, "alex, i'm tired. please."
