it was a normal day at your house. nothing much was going on that day. calum had the day off, so he was outside in the yard trying to build an outdoor studio for himself. you, on the other hand, were inside watching television.

you were about to click off the tv and see if cal needed anything, when your phone started going off like crazy.

at the moment, you were that famous. at first, people only recognized you as calums girlfriend. many people didn't even know your name. but thankfully, calum helped you with your music career, and you released a song that month. people were starting to notice. slowly, but surely.

you picked up your phone from the coffee table, and saw the notifications were all from instagram.

you were put into a group chat, with about twenty five other fans of 5sos. they added you, hoping you'd respond.

you said a few hellos, liking the attention you got. you hadn't gotten much over the years.

pretty soon more people were added, and you knew you couldn't stay on for long. your manager would be at your throat in the morning.

so you decided to turn off your read receipts, tell the girls goodbye, and watch what they would talk about.

at first it was minor. just them talking about their lives. but then calum got brought into the picture.

calsglossybabe : did you know calum follows alexis ren? i mean, why didn't he go out with her? she's soooo pretty!

lukesasnaccckkk : i know! i mean, don't get me wrong, y/n is soooo pretty! but have you looked at the people he's followed?

sadly, you felt a lump in your through arise. you had no reason to feel insecure. but the way the girls talked made you feel bad.

so, you went to calums instagram page. the first three recent photos that popped up were of you and him during a calvin klein photo shoot (omg i wish) and a silly video of you in his sweats and a hoodie, holding his bass and imitating him.

but you looked above it, and clicked on his 80 people he was following.

first people were obviously you and his band mates, not to mention luke's mom. but he further you scrolled, the more insecure you got.

you clicked on a random girls instagram, and looked through it.

she had beautiful brown hair, and gorgeous green eyes. whereas on the other hand, you had unruly brown hair, and okay e/c eyes.

she had a nice body, with toned legs and beautiful abs. ever since you had moved into a new house with calum, you didn't have time to work out. you didn't have abs anymore, and your legs were loosing their shape.

you clicked off her page, and went back to scrolling. you hoped you'd see more girls that looked like you, but as it turned out, you were the only one. all the other girls had perfect toned bodies. you, didn't.
