three o'clock in the morning.

you hadn't gotten that much sleep that night. constant pains in your stomach, and sickness had kept you awake.

calum knew this, and stayed up with you. but eventually he had fallen asleep once you felt fine. but you didn't feel that way for long.

now you were sitting on the couch, trying to prop you aching feet up. for nine months they had been swollen, and it was about time for them to go back to normal.

just when you were about to try to go back to bed, you felt something cold and wet between your legs. you knew you didn't have a bad bladder, so it could only be one thing.

you quickly shot up from the couch, and looked down. just like you had thought, the couch was wet, with a tint of pink.

"shit." you said, trying to gather yourself.

with a shaky voice you yelled, "calum!"

michael, who had fallen asleep watching tv on the kitchen chair, shot up, and looked at you, "what?"

you heard footsteps coming downstairs and saw calums
pink, flustered face come into the kitchen.

"what happened? are you okay?" he put his hands on your stomach, making sure you were okay.

"it's time." you said, panic erupting through your body.

at only seventeen you were having a baby. you didn't know if you could do it.

calum's eyes widened and grabbed the diaper bag by the door. you slipped on your shoes, and grabbed a sweater. it was cold this early in the morning.

"michael take her outside. i'm gonna pull the car around." calum instructed, and michael shot up, grabbing your arm gently.

"should i call luke?" he asked.

luke was your brother, who was at his house at this hour, "i can do it."

with flustered and and shaking hands, you grabbed you phone out of your pocket and dialed luke's number.

while the phone was ringing, michael helped you out the door, and calum took it from there.

"it's three in the morning. what the hell?"

you could tell you had just woken him up. you could also hear his girlfriend asking who was calling in the background.

"i'm in labor luke. get your ass to the hospital now." you said, letting calum buckle you into the car.

"shit i'll be there in ten."

you then called ashton, "everything alright?"

calum pulled out of the driveway, letting you squeeze his hand to release some of the pain you were having.

"we're on our way to the hospital. the baby's coming." you said through clenched teeth.

"oh my gosh." he said.

"can you get a car seat? we didn't expect the baby to come this soo-" you started.

"stop. worry about getting to the hospital. i'll handle the seat."

ashton hung up the phone, and you put yours in your pocket.

"drive faster calum." you said, squeezing his hand tighter.
