calum was fifteen minutes late. again.

it was his daughters second recital, and he promised to be there. you didn't know where he was, but the curtain was coming up, and the music was starting. you were beginning to think he wasn't coming. after all, he had a long day at the studio. he probably just wanted to go home and relax.

but then the auditorium doors opened, and you heard the all too familiar voices behind you.

"where is she?"

"should i call her?"

"oh there she is."

four boys surrounded you, one placing a kiss on your cheek and whispering, "sorry i'm late. manager held us over."

you nodded, letting him grab your hand.

"you got the balloons right?" calum asked michael who was on the other side of you.

"what balloons?" you asked. whatever they were up to, usually wasn't good.

"and presents." luke smiled who was next to calum.

"oh gosh." you said and rolled your eyes. but you smiled, looking back at the recital.

they made a fool of themselves, and your daughter as usual. anything she did, they stood up and cheered.

"that's my girl!"

"oh yea!"

"whooo!"

"we love you d/n!"

by the time the recital was over with, you had gotten. a lot of stares thanks to them.

you went to pick up your daughter in the back while the guys stayed behind. you figured she didn't want to be embarrassed by her dad and three uncles all at the same time. especially in front of all her friends.

"hey babygirl!" calum said when you had brought her out.

"never come to my recitals again." she said, but she was smiling and laughing.

"well just think of it as special treatment. we got you stuff in the car. how about ice cream."

"ice cream?" luke's eyes widened at the thought of it.

you knew it was chaotic, but you wouldn't have it any other way.
