Chapter 2

Jax's POV
When morning arouse, we had breakfast in the dining room. When we got there, Andi sat next to Em, Em sat next to me, Maddie sat beside Diego, and Diego beside Daniel. There was this gal sitting in front of me who was glaring at us. "What did we do wrong?" I asked her. She just rolled her eyes at us. It was a very awkward breakfast session.

When we finished eating, me, Andi, and Em moved to the living room as everyone continued their awkward silent breakfast. "Do you think any of them are.. you know...?" Andi whispered. "Hopefully not." Emma responded. "Why not?" I asked. "If that glaring girl was a you-know-what, it'd be a mess." she said. "True." me and Andi said.

The next thing I saw; Maddie was about to cast a spell.

Andi and I ran to her and pull her hand about eighth of a second before her finger glows. "Sorry, uhm, Maddie has some anger issues and we don't want her to burst her finger out." Emma announced to the other people, making air quotes on finger to alarm Diego and Daniel on what she was about to do. "Man, we gotta go." Diego told Daniel.

Nina's POV
"Now that the newcomers aren't here, I can finally tell you guys." I said, looking at Fabian. I took a deep breath. "I found a ripped off note with a somewhat secret code that hung up the ceiling when Amber left." I said. "The newbs must have something to do with it, then." Patricia exclaimed. "It wasn't them. When I entered the room before them, I realized that it was already there." I defended. "What does it say?" Eddie said. I pulled out the ripped paper from my pocket and showed them. It said 'Through the fire and fiery pain, the powerful ones shall reign.'. We all looked at each other. "I'll check through the books tonight and see if I get any clue on this." Fabian said, running off.

Jax's POV
We all headed to school and figured out that our lockers were all beside each other. Luckily, I was placed beside Em and Diego. Diego's was next to Maddie's, Maddie's was next to Daniel's, and Andi's was next to Em and glaring girl we saw this morning. "Reduce the glitter, Emma." I muttered. She eventually heard me and hit me with her elbow. "Oww." I whined. "Come on, Jax, it didn't hurt that bad, for sure." she said.

Eddie's POV
When I went to talk to Patricia, all the newcomers were setting up their lockers beside hers. "Trouble in paradise?" I said. "Shut up." she replied, putting her books inside her locker. I tried opening my locker but my recent combination won't work. I punched the locker door. "My combination won't work." I said. "Are you getting amnesia? Ask this girl beside me who has a truckload of tools in her box." she said, pointing at the girl with dark brown hair with purple and blonde streaks.

Emma's POV
The dirty blonde headed guy approached Andi. "Hi, I'm Eddie. How many tools are you putting up your locker?" he said. "Hundreds." I said. "What do you need?" she said. "My locker won't open." he said. Andi grabbed a hammer and knocked on the lock a couple of times until it opened. Glaring Girl and Locker Boy moved back in shock and suspicion. "Uhm... thanks?" he responded with his face full of mix emotions and left.

*after school*

Fabian's POV
When I got back to Anubis House, I quickly tried to search in different books the meaning behind the old ripped-off paper Nina handed in.

Unexpectedly, Victor approached me.

"Fabian," he said while handing in a paper, "I think Sibuna has something to do with this. Please meet me at my office with Nina and Eddie later on.". "What's Sibuna?" Jax, our new roommate, asked. "His nickname for Nina." Eddie lied. I looked at it and it said; Tears are shed, they turn to gold, the Chosen One once foretold.

"Get to Victor's office now." I told Eddie. I ran as fast as I can to Nina's room. "Nina, I think I found-" I said, until I was cut off by the fact that her new roommates were also there. "*gulps* Victor's calling for us and according to his facial reaction, it's important." I said.

We all went to his office as planned. "Do you know what you're doing, Sibuna?" he asked. "What do you mean?" Nina asked. "Every 20 years, there's this strange moon called as the Fool Moon. It's spelled as F-O-O-L, not F-U-L-L. It can change a witch or a wizard indefinitely. Every Fool Moon, the house spawns tears of gold in a hidden place which can make a witch or wizard invincible. From the past 98 years of my life, there has been two attempts of a witch or wizard stealing the tears of gold from the house. The first one is rumored to disappear already but the other one still appears to be alive," he said, "I can't believe I'm saying this but for once, I'm going to help the Sibuna if you help me stop the invaders from stealing the tears of gold.". Witches? Wizards? What? "What do you mean witches and wizards? They don't exist." Eddie defended. "Its hard to explain. I have a friend in the Witches Council and hopefully they can help us." he replied.

We looked at each other and decided...
"Victor, welcome to Sibuna."
