Chapter 3

Andi's POV
I was just lying on my bed playing games on my tablet while Em was scrapbooking. "We're in England now. You're still scrapbooking." I said. "You're still video gaming." she replied. "I'm still me." I said. "Same here." she said. "I'm bored. Use a spell from the Hex for once." I whined. "Make Maddie do it instead. She's probably bored like you right now." she said.

I ran to Maddie's room across my room. "Maddie, I need your help." I said. Unexpectedly, she just stood up and followed me to my room. I locked the door to make sure other housemates can see she's casting a spell. We scrolled around the Hex recklessly and randomly as we landed on this anti-gravity spell.

Emma's POV
"Got no activity, in this room, activate anti-gravity." Maddie said as she casted the spell. Everything then started floating, even our stuff and our bed. I couldn't undo the spell while floating. Oh no. I have to call Jax.

"Jax!" I shouted on the phone. "Hey Em! What do you need?" he asked. "Maddie casted an anti-gravity spell and neither of us can undo it. Our other roommate will come back any minute now so help us fix it." I said. "Sure, I'll be there in a sec." he replied and ended the call.

"Jax is going to reverse the spell for us." I said. The next thing I saw was Andi making air cartwheels in the middle of the room. Maddie realized it too. "Andi, what are you doing?" Maddie asked. "What does it look like I'm doing?." she replied. "I'm worried anytime now, Nina's gonna come knocking on the door, begging us to open it, and become suspicious." I said. "Do what I do; just let it slide and make a lie." Maddie said. "Does it even work?" Andi asked. "Good point." she replied.

Jax's POV
I ran upstairs as fast as I could until I found out Em and Andi's roommate, Nina, and her friend slash my roommate, Fabian, were begging them to open the door when they couldn't. "Oh no." I muttered. I looked for an isolated place that no one could see me so I can teleport to the room.

When I got there, I flew to the air uncontrollably. "How do you walk in the air?" I asked. "No one knows." Em replied. "Guys, what's going on?" Fabian yelled at the door. "Get us in, please." Nina yelled through the door. I quickly thought of a spell and said it out loud, "We need more time to take action, get this door malfunction.". Surprisingly, Emma, Maddie, and I cast the same spell at the same time. It hit the door but it bounced back to us then we fell on the ground and blacked out.

Eddie's POV
All of us were here except Nina and Fabian. A few minutes later, they finally showed up.

"So, what do we have to do?" Fabian asked. "I asked the Witches Council to come over and help us. We need witches/wizards to complete every task." he said. Someone knocked on the door. It was two girls and an old looking guy.

We walked to the room behind the staircase. The guy casted a spell with his hand and opened a box.

"We, sort of, have a problem, Victor." the short one, Ramona, said. "We need the Hexoren to complete the second task. Although, the first task is only to open the box with a spell and solve the puzzle." Agamemnon said. "Where's the Hexoren then?" I asked. "The Chosen One has it." he said. "I don't have it." Nina said. "You may be an Egyptian Chosen One but we're talking about the Witch Chosen One. We last saw her in Miami but she isn't there anymore." Ramona said.

"We also don't have much time. Former Council member Desdemona turned into her evil counterpart since the Fool Moon rose. She came back only once but never eversince. I have the feels that she's after the tears of gold. We need to take action fast." Lily said. "By tommorow, or as soon as possible, you'll need to complete the puzzle." Agamemnon said before flashing away.
