Chapter Six

When we weren't studying or crying over homework, Alena and I loved the explore the city. I felt like no matter how long you lived in the city you never truly experienced or seen it all.

My parents dragged me to The Met when I was younger and I didn't remember at all. I don't even think my younger self would be able to appreciate it's beauty. So Alena and I decided to spend a day at The Met.

"Blair and Serena vibes." Alena laughed as we looked through our pictures on the iconic met steps

"They came out super cute." I looked at the pictures, "Definitely send them to me."

She nodded, "Wanna go get something to eat? I'm starving."

"Yeah, we just gotta make it back to get ready for the Halloween party tonight." I looked down at my phone to see Asher calling me, "I'm down for anything, Asher is calling me."

I clicked the green button, "Hey."

"Hello EPK." Asher answered the phone, "Whatcha doin'?"

"Alena and I just left The Met and now we're going to get something to eat. Why are you calling me?" I asked him as Alena and I walked

He sighed, "I can't check up on my little sister? Gosh. Anyway you know Dad's birthday is on Wednesday and I think it would be a good idea if all of us collaborated on a video of our birthday wishes to him."

"I got it, Lydia told me." I told my brother, "I have a feeling this is about something else."

"Maybe his voice trailed off." he began, "Have you been talking to Parker?"

I nodded, "Yes, we still talk and FaceTime. I just haven't seen him in a while."

"You know much he loves his 'Lizabeth." Asher brought up, "I just don't want you two to grow apart or anything."

I laughed, "To think you didn't even want us together two years ago. I'll talk to you later, bye Ash."

"What was that all about?" Alena asked me

I looked over at her, "My Dad's birthday and Mr you know who."

"Are you still into him? What about Bradley?" Alena wondered

I shrugged, "I'm always going to be into or have feelings for Parker. He's played a big part in my life since I was like five years old. Bradley is Bradley. He's a good friend and cute, but Parker will always hold a special place in my heart."

Alena just looked at me, "That man could be tens of thousands a miles away and it wouldn't change how whipped you are for him."

She wasn't wrong.

For Halloween, I decided to dress up as Brtiney Spears from the 'Baby One More Time' and boy was it hot.

"Girl, you look so fucking hot." Alena complimented me

"You too Princess Jasmine." I gave the compliment right back

Alena, a few other girls, and I pulled into an Uber and drove to a bar that wasn't too far from campus and gosh was it popping tonight. It was like everyone and their mom is was here but that only made it more fun.

"Lemon drops tonight?" Elise asked me

I smirked, "You already know that I want a hell of a lot of those."

"Let me buy them for you then." a voice spoke

I turned around to see Bradley dressed up as a hot police officer.

"Hey, Bradley." I wrapped my arms around him, "Not gonna give me a MIP?"

"Ha, nope but I will give you TPIB." he spoke as I made a face, "The prettiest girl in the bar."
