Chapter 5 FIRST ENCOUNTER

"I'm in." Bulong ko sa device na magsisilbing communication namin ni Scarlet.
"Got you honey." Mukhang kumakain pa ng popcorn tong lula neto.
Tss. Ineenjoy pa talaga ng babaeng yun ang mission na to a. Isabak ko nga sa field yun next time.

I am humming Somewhere Down the Road by Barry Manilow as I slowly walk when I heard a loud thud in my earpiece.

"The popcorn bowl slipped, sorry hehe"

I just tssed when Scarlet spoke, "honey I'd love seeing you sing in front of the crowd. You sing so well."

Hindi ko siya pinansin at pumwesto na. Hinagis ko ang kabilang dulo ng rope na dala ko with it's sharp hook and I smoothly climbed on it. I silently flipped my body para paa ko ang unang tatapak sa lapag ng second floor habang inoobserbahan ko naman ang first floor.

Mabilis akong dumapa ng may biglang tumingin sa direksyon ko. "Stay there. Wait for my signal before you enter since one of them is checking that room. Maybe cheking for invaders and honey you're absolutely one."  Bulong ni Scarlet. Bakit ba pati siya ay bumubulong? Napapikit nalang ako ng maalalang abnormal nga pala to.

"Now."
I immediately open the window which Scarlet hacked. Kasabay ng pagpasok ko ay ang pagsara ng pintuan kaya naman mabilis kong hinanap ang safe na madali ko ding nakita. This room's CCTV cameras were disabled so I need to trust myself  here. Well, I always do.

"They are checking the room every 30 minutes so you really need to move in a swift manner dear." Paalala ni Scarlet.

I pressed the psscd while whispering for Scarlet to open the second lock. "1-0-2-8-9-6-0-7"
"Got it." Seconds have passed but Scarlet remain silent. She's snapping, she's tensed. "Yze!" She shouted. Nanatili akong nakikinig. Mukhang may problema nga, Yze tawag sakin e.
"The second lock requires fingerprint."

"Kaninong daliri naman ang puputulin ko?" Kalmado ko namang tanong.

"That's the problem" My eyes furrowed.

"You cannot harm the target. It's the first in command that we need." I close my eyes to keep my cool. 'Don not harm.' Nag eecho yan sa isip ko kaya medyo nainis ako. Tss. That means wala akong dapat saktan sakanila dito.

"Location?" I heard fast tapping on the keyboard so I waited while looking at the door. "Negative. The CCTV's aren't functioning. They're for bluffing." She seems really pressured dahil lumalakas na ang boses niya tapos biglang hihina ulit. Naiimagine ko tuloy na tumitingin pa siya sa paligid niya kung may nagmamasid ba sakanya. Sira ulong tunay.

"I got this. Focus."

I looked at my watch. I still have 20 minutes to plan, get the shit of a finger print,get the file then leave.

"Scarlet?" I whispered. "Yeah?." Mukhang ayaw niyang pumalpak dahil naka focus talaga siya.
"Man in black. Nearest to the door."
"Man about like your body frame."
I smirked. Mukhang medyo hindi ko maiiwasan ang mangialam sa tauhan nila. Goods lang yan at least hindi naman sila Cullen.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.  Bubuksan ko sana ang pintuan ng biglang sumigaw si Scarlet. "Shit! Yze, lurk!" I heard the knob ticked so I carefully close the safe again and in a brisk motion, I hid behind the big curtains.

I cursed under my breath when I heard a gun barrel. Mukhang bihasa ang mga tauhan nila, isa lang ang pumasok at napangiti ako dahil dun.
I waited for him to get nearer then I immediately hit his neck.

As I saw him laying on the floor with a Springfield XD 4"9mm  in his right hand, I hummed the same song while undressing him.

"I think Maddox gave me some of his luck." Sabi ko kay Scarlet na hindi na yata humihinga sa kabilang linya. Haha. Maddox is one of my close cousins. His name means fortunate. I saved a couple of minutes because the prey willingly approached the predator.

"Good heavens." Sabi naman ni Scarlet. HAHA. Parang mas hinihingal pa sakin to.

Naglagay ako ng voice changing device sa leeg kong natatabunan ng hoodie, at pina hacked ang boses ng lalaking hiniraman ko muna ng trabaho mula naman sa earpiece nito.
Ipoprogram ni Scarlet ang boses ni manong tsaka ipoprogram sa device na nasa leeg ko.

Lumabas ako ng pinto at nagpaalam sa mga kasamahan 'ko' na mag ra rounds na muna ako.

I walked as masculine as I can, part of the plan. Tatlong kwarto lang ang nandito. Imposibleng nandito ang father dahil nasa F3 ang guards niya. Sigurado akong kung nasaan ang safe ay nandun ang first in command. He is the most dangerous person here, he is very much capable to protect the whole mansion by having the perfect spot. Therefore, nasa R2 siya. That room is in between R1 and 3 pati na rin ang F1 and 3. Clever and indeed, impressive security hack.

Kailangan ko ng magmadalu dahil ayoko sa nararamdaman ko. Habang papalapit ako sa R2 au bumibilis ang tibok ng nasa loob ng dibdib ko. Tss. Nairita tuloy ako bigla.

Huminga muna ako nang paglalalim lalim bago ako kumatok. Tok tok to--. Hindi ko pa man natatapos ang tatlong katok ay marahas ng bumukas ang pintuan. Bumulaga sakin ang isang matipunong lalaki na tanging boxer shorts lang ang suot. I gulped twice upon seeing this beautiful creature before me.

Nagtagpo ang mga mata namin at namangha ako sa kulay ng mga mata niya. He has this Russian chocolate brown eyes that seem to look into the deepest of you.

Pareho kami ng eye color. I scanned hus face. Thick eyebrows, pointed nose, sharp jaw line at mas napalunok ako ng dumako sa mga labi niya ang mata ko. Red thin lips. Bahagya pa itong napaawang kaya halos maligo na ako sa dami ng tagaktak ng pawis mula sa noo ko.

Bago pa matungo ang mukha ko sa katawan niya ay sinigawan niya na ako.

"WHAT?!!" He asked with sharpness. Cold din to. I didn't answer at napangisi ako ng patago ng makitang hawak niya ang door knob sa gawing labas. "W-where i-i-s the -the c-omfort r-oom sir?"

I intended to stummer dahil according sa profile nitong hiniraman ko ng identity ay bago palang siya dito. So dapat takot pag kaharap ang first in command.

"STUPID. It's in the middle of the night and you're bugging my sleep to ask where is the fucking comfort room?!!"
Pareho din kami ng ENGLISH word.

Tss. Kung pwede lang kitang saktan ay baka habangbuhay ka ng nakapikit ngayon. "S-s-orr--" bago ko pa matapos magsalita ay padabog niya ng sinara ang pintuan.

"Ikaw ang stupid." Pahabol na bulong ko pa tsaka ko inalis ang film na nilagay ko sa door knob kanina bago kumatok. Dire diretso na akong pumasok muli sa R3 at iniscan ang folder na may logo ng school namin. Binalik ko sa dating paraan ng pagkakalagay ang folder tsaka nagpalit na ulit ng damit. Ginising ko na si manong, di niya naman maaalala to, malalas ang paghampas ko kanina para sigurado.

"I'm out." Hudyat na yun na kailangan ng linisin ni Scarlet ang footages ko sa mga CCTV.

"Congratulations sa first mission natin together insan. Yiee" rinig kong tili niya sa kabilang linya kaya inalis ko na din ang device sa tenga ko.

Habang nagdadrive pauwi ay naalala ko ang lalaking hubad na yun. Naiirita ako sa naramdaman ko kanina. That was my first time to feel such emotion kaya naiinis ako. I really hate first times.

His messy hair adds up to his hotne--. Tss. Ano bang nakakadiring pag iisip yan. Pagalit ko sa sarili. Kabanas. Yze needs to rest. A long ang peaceful rest.
