Old Reliable

~~~~Digimon Emperor~~~~

I stood over my brand new conquered area, a sector covered in snow in the far north of the digital world.

I ordered the Gizamon to build a brand new prison after erecting my control spire.

I snapped my whip at the Gizamon, they were moving too slow for my taste.

"Where this, it's cold." A voice said from my feet. I looked angrily at wormmon, who held a coat in his little hands. I got annoyed.

"Leave me alone!" I shouted, kicking Wormmon away from me.

One of the Gizamon fell and didn't get up. I demanded that he get up and continue working and was about to whip him, when my whip was caught in the air.

The one who caught it was a Gomamon, who was quite the nuisance in this area.

"Hey, quit it!" I yelled at me, "They're all tired and need rest. Maybe someone should use this whip on you, you big bully."

"Number one, don't ever talk to me without calling me sir. And number two, don't ever talk to me!" I whipped the Gomamon to the ground and smiled at the Gizamon.

"Whoever among you that can defeat this creature will receive a special prize package, the rest will get some lovely parting gifts. So who is up for the challenge." I said.

I watched the Gizamom attack Gomamon with pure fury, wanting the special prize I had promised.

"That was way too easy." I said as Gomamon twitchdd on the ground.

"Yeah, they've defeated them master, now tell them what they've won." Wormmon said.

"Right." I retracted my whip and immediately dark rings flew through the air, wrapping themselves around the Gizamons' necks. Their eyes glowing a bright red as they stared at me under my full control.

"Here's your reward. You all have the honor of being my slaves." I said, "Now, get back to work building the prison."

The Gizamon turned around and went out to complete my orders on the prison. I smiled at what I was achieving, soon, this entire digital world will be all mine, and then my friend will wake up and never have to suffer hardships again.

I watched as Ken walked away from the control spire back to his base. He was becoming more corrupted by the day and it was hurting so many innocent lives here in both the digital world and in the real world.

I used my cloak as camouflage to hide myself in the snow and followed Gomamon as he struggled to find a portal over the hill. He needed to contact Joe, his partner.

"Joe...." he groaned as he collapsed next to the tv portal.

I ran to him and took out a piece of red cloth I had hidden in my pocket. I unfolded it and wrapped it around him best I could, so at least he wouldn't be too cold and protected in some way. Red was best seen in white, so someone would spot him.

"Be safe, Gomamon. Your partner will be here soon." I reassured him. He lay in that cloth unconscious as the snow kept falling. I wanted to stay with him a little longer, but I couldn't risk my identity being found out, especially by controlled digimon.

If the Emperor found out who I was, it leave the rebellion without a leader, and she would be in danger.

I ran to the trees and waited for the digidestined to come.

Little did I know, that Gomamon was only barely conscious.

I ran down the halls as soon as the final bell rang. As I ran past the stairs near the computer room, I saw Cody from the corner of my eye.
